you seem to be a tall guy for your weight but you give up that height by leaning on your front foot. you might want to consider changing your stance some so that you can benefit from that height. it will also make you harder to hit.

    Congrats, sir.

    Thank you for sharing.

I wouldn't listen to myself or anyone on this site, but if I did feel righteous to give an opinion I would say: use more head movement with your counters. I think that would go a long way based on the video I saw; particularly round 1.

    this.

the mere fact that you stepped foot into the ring as a pro puts you in a very small fraternity of warriors. the fact that you posted your video tells me that you are open to constructive criticism...which is a good thing if you intend to grow as a fighter.

some of what ppl here have to say is of value....some of it isn't. i'm a trainer so i'm not pulling what i'm saying from the sky. i can point to why your leaning on the front foot is not a good thing. it's very simple. you put yourself in the punching range/strike zone of your opponent by doing so. when you sit on the back foot, you take your head out of punching range to allow yourself more reaction time to the punches coming at you. not everyone believes in this method and it doesn't work for everyone. if you choose to stay on the front foot then you will have to rely on more head movement and blocking. that requires more energy and makes for a tougher fight. reflexes tend to slow as a fight progresses and they definitely slow as you age. the less you get hit, the longer your career will last. of course the situation changes depending on the circumstances, but it's nice to have options in your arsenal.

You should attempt the shoulder roll, a great weapon to add to your arsenal
