    1. Great footwork
    - Groves is fast on his feet and moves in and out of range very well. His baseline stance is to keep the left low and keep moving his feet slightly, which changes the angle constantly.

    2. Head Movement & Parrying the jab
    - Groves defends jabs by moving his head back slightly or by parrying the jab with his right hand. He learned this from Booth.

    3. Solid jab to head and body.
    - Groves throws a textbook jab to head and body and can double and triple the jab well.

    4. Counter right hand always ****ed
    - Groves is always looking to throw the counter right hand as his opponent is coming in. This is how Froch was dropped heavily. This keeps fighters reluctant to throw a 1-2 or to put combinations together, because they know Groves has the right hand ****ed and they are worried about getting caught clean.

    5. Defence against the right hand
    - Groves can bring his left hand up and block the right hand or duck/slip the right hand. This means he can keep the left side of his face exposed and allow his fast jab to come upwards, in an awkward fashion for his opponent.

    Add more.

His timing is very very on-song.

The first shot which put Paul Smith down is a perfect example.

Was his most recent fight so surely you can only assume he has incredible power based on that?

**** all, yet. talented, sure, but i suspect too fragile to be truly world class. however, time will tell. i'll be happy to be proven wrong.

Depends really, if he shows the same power against someone else then yeah, but depends if froch has slipped.

Never assume, makes an ass of me and you ;)

He's shown power against plenty of opponents.

He isn't that quick on his feet because his stance is quite wide. In general he keeps the range well until he tires.
His offence is very good but his defence is sloppy and weak.
He's a talented boxer with some fundamental flaws. Similar to David Haye in that respect.

I like Groves. But I'll hold back on the world class till he's beat a couple world level fighters.
