Manuel Charr will face Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson on the 12th of April in Bonn, Germany. Following 'titles' are on the line: WBC International Silver heavyweight title WBC CIS and Slovenian Boxing Bureau (CISBB) heavyweight title WBC Baltic heavyweight title Any thoughts? However I don't rate Charr at all, I believe he will win by UD against Safetypin. Probably won't watch this fight. :zzz
Charr will win a lopsided decision because he is capable of balling up his fist and throwing more than ten punches a round. Also in before the first person says anything about Johnson showing up motivated and in shape
Charr has nice WBC rating, Fury complains about his WBC rating, beating Charr gets him top spot. Can Fury beat Charr?
If Kingpin won these belts I think he should defend them at NY MSG next! Bringing the belts back to the US of A!
Kingpin Johnson is a lazy pc of garbage, lack of heart and balls... A huge waste of talent till he gets his rearend handed to him he will just be what he is a journeyman. I hope Charr knocks him out of the ring....
How does Kingpin keep getting fights. He never throws anything but a jab every other round, and ruins the promotion after everybody leaves having to sit throw another snore fest.
Cool fight. Looks like Kingpin has gotten some motivation the past couple years to try himself against contenders, good for him, we need more of that. The only one he's beaten is Leapai, and I don't think that will change with this fight. However, the haters need to get over it. He's descending into journeyman status, but the haters forget that he's still arguably the best win on Chisora's resume and the second best win on Fury's. He's not an volume puncher, that's just not him, and at this point, what he does do probably isn't enough to beat most of the top 20 guys who throw more than him. But he's beat three world title challengers and has never been ko'd, and actually did fairly well against Chisora at times. Hater's need to stop criticizing the few decent fights that get made in the HW division. I mean, come on people, this is a better matchup for Charr than Dennis Bahktov or anyone else he's fought than Vitali. A win for Charr solidifies him as a top 20 guy, cusp top 15. A win for Johnson puts him back in contender status. Good fight. Anyway, UD by Charr, won't get a knock down but will otherwise probably win more handily than Chisora.
