I feel sorry for him with regards to some things people has said about his family ect mum mrs ect. I dont get the wave of hate on the boards ect. Still one of the best British fighters in a long time reminds me a little of Benn, willing to go anywhere and fight anyone, great chin.

Anybody taking the beating he did from Groves for 6 rounds and still coming on strong gets my respect.

Im not so sure he is cracking to be honest, I dont see him taking the fight if he thinks Groves would beat him. I dont think Froch cares what people think or say about him enough to take a fight he dident think he could win.

Na I don't feel sorry for him, he's earnt millions doing something he loves and has a mad fit wife, no sympathy from me. I only feel sorry for boxers if they get a serious injury, no one wants to see that happen.

Froch runs his mouth as much as anyone else, he gives as good as he gets in that respect. He takes beatings in many of his fights so that's no big deal imo. He took a beating against Groves but he's given his fair share of beatings too so it is what it is. No reason to feel sorry for him.

I don't feel sorry for him, he's the one who's acted the way he has BUT that won't stop me supporting him. People can criticize his personality, family, skills and so on but he fights the very best available and is rarely in a dull fight, he's been a pleasure to watch in the ring and he put's people like Kell Brook, David Haye, Scott Quigg, and pretty much 90% of British boxing to shame. The sad thing is if he beats Groves people will be on the bandwagon again.

He's taking a fight he doesn't want to take and will get paid millions to do so. Most of us do jobs we don't want to do and get paid peanuts to do so.

As good at mind games as Groves is, part and parcel of that is fooling the audience. Take from that what you will. I feel he will come up short on fight night, as he did last time around.

i used to like froch until he got owned by andre ward and started talking BS like he lost a close points decision to ward... recently went on to show no respect to his opponent in groves who floored his ass in the 1st round... not to mention the ref who was probably paid by eddie heard himself that stopped the fight left a bad taste... and now is being a ***** again... froch is done and dusted.. he won't ever be able to beat ward and is nearing the end of his career.... i hope groves finishes him off this time, however, my gut feeling is Froch will win....

13 million? Source? Everything I've read indicates Froch is getting paid £4-5 million.. not that the purses interest me but.. 13 million??
Even if that was dollars, it would be about £7.8 million, give or take.. I've heard other people mention 13 million, anyone know where this figure has materialised from or was the £4-5 million his guaranteed purse, with PPV and extras added onto his purse?
