Just look at these odds. I favour Scott to win this fight because he was in the ring with actual top 20 boxers like Chisora and Glazkov and fared reasonably well. Wilder hasn't faced anyone with a pulse yet and all we know is that he probably hits like a Mule. Punching power gets overrated BIG TIME especially when accompanied by little technique as in Wilder's case. He telegraphs his punches like Travis Walker who could probably knock anyone silly if he actually had some skills to throw those punches accordingly.

Obviously, Wilder has a realistic chance to win as Chisora knocked him out with less power than Deontay's carrying but I feel the odds are heavily skewed towards the boxer with more hype as opposed to the one with the better skills.

Scott have exactly 0 chances of beating Wilder, since he would be a dead man if he only tries it.

He's Wilder sparring partners in his camps, he's Wilder close friend, and his career is over.

He has nothing to lose from giving Wilder the win, but a lot to lose if he tries to land a heavy shot on Wilder.

He'd probably be shot behind the head.

He even quitted against Chisora, ffs.

Based on what do you rate Wilder so highly that not even a top 20 boxer can afford to engage in a battle with him? I mean, going toe to toe with Travis Walker sounds like an ass plan as well but there's a lot of ways to circumvent that, isn't there? And I don't see as of now, why I'd rate Wilder higher than Walker. Both allegedly shaky chinned, huge power, poor technique.

Will probably end in the 1st round with a glancing blow.

I don't rate Wilder. I don't even think he has much power, until he knocks out someone with a chin.

The problem is that Scott, apart being feather fisted, glass chinned and without hearth, is the official sparring partner of Wilder from past training camps.

    They are also close friends.
One of them is famous and on the rising, overhyped, etc.

The other one quitted against Chisora, that was his best opponent ever, in spite of having been in the game for quite a long time.

Scott has to go down, it's all written.

He can't punch back, he can't let his hands go. He's choosed and paid to lose. This fight is fixed.

EDIT: just checked boxrec, Scott isn't even ranked in the top 30 hws. He's #35 right now.

If Scott doesn't fight back and land any sort of hard punches on WIlder's face it will be too obvious and people will know that the fight was rigged, that will not help Wilder and will only gain people hating on him. Scott has better movement and longer arms then Wilder and only 3 inches shorter, he should be able to pop 1-2's on Wilder's face at will.

If I remember correctly the Chisora - Scott fight correctly Scott had his moments in the fight and Chisora didn't look all that good until the stoppage. Which IMO tells us how bad Chisora is, not necessarily how good Scott is. Having said that, Scott will be a good test for Wilder at this point, however, I would be surprised if he managed to pull off the upset.

Scott has massive physical disadvantages against Wilder and Wilder will be wary of engaging at close range (if he has half a brain). For Scott to win this he has to make this a close quarters war and a dirty one.

Scott is basically a journeyman in disguise.

It will be comic if Scott defeats Wilder, Outclasses Stiverene, then outworks Wlad to become the first Undisputed champion since Lewis

He is really 38-0 according to his fans, he owned Adamek opponent that drew & was prematurely stopped vs Chisora

if you think scott wins more than 1 out of times then a bet at 4/1 is worth it if im not mistaken, i personally would just wait until a better opportunity . boxing odds are often wrong - jus look at saildo being 5/1.

Wilder has huge power, that much is obvious. I think Klittards get very sensitive about Wilder because he hits harder than Wlad, a bit like how they got upset over Haye

+ 430 is just about right for Scott. He's got more experience and he is as skillful as heavyweights get, but I just don't trust him to get the job done against someone like Wilder.
