Lomachenko did not lose to Salido by split decision, he lost to COLE, who was protecting Salido, allowing low blows to the balls, to Lomachenko's legs, to his hips etc., also allowed Salido to hit on the break, and when Lomachenko had Salido ready to be knocked out Cole allowed Salido to hold on for dear life, not clinch, but hold.................Lennox Lewis used to clinch all the time, esp. in the fight with Tua and Tyson, not to mention others.........but he was not holding as tight as he could hold like Salido.........according to this fight, Bowe/Golota decision should be reversed...........

Sorry man but proving you can hang with one of the top fighters in the division means much more to me than beating 20 cans (which means nothing at all).

Secondly, he didn't get hit a lot by Ramirez, the **** you were watching? He got hit a few times but not what I'd consider A LOT.. also, while GRJ has faster hands (there's not a fighter alive that's better than him in this category), his footwork sucks ass IMO, and his defense isn't great either, everyone knows Lomachenko has great footwork and in my opinion, his defense is better too.

And thirdly, Ramirez is probably above any fighter GRJ has fought, says it all really.

Salido isn't too far away from the typical Russell opponent? :rofl:rofl
    You can't be taken seriously.

    Excellent post.

This nonsense about Lomo getting hit " a lot" by Ramirez has been debunked by Ramirez himself when he admitted he could not land anything of significance. I posted the link FFS.

Yes, Gary is faster than Lomo but we are talking about the difference between a guy with "A" hand speed and "A+" hand speed. Both, in other words, can bring it. Russell, as you pointed out, has average footwork and a decent yet far from impenetrable defense.

Where I would disagree is on Lomo's jab. The kid actually has a pretty good one, but he does not utilize enough yet. That will come with experience, I think.

Take another look at Loma's face after the fight.
Ramirez was able to connect with several looping right hands around Loma's guard on several occasions.
All night Loma was wide open for the uppercut that Ramirez never threw. Russell loves throwing uppercuts.
At the end of the night Loma had a clear mouse under his eye from punches he had taken, and this was from a guy (Ramirez who doesn't possess Russell's fast and accurate jab.

As I said before, in both fights Loma's jab was non-existent. Lucky for him his opponents had no jab either.
Russell uses his jab extensively, followed by many combinations.

    GRJ by TKO

Yawn. A mouse under his eye denotes that he got " hit a lot." So you're one of those guys, huh? Lol

I have watched the fight several times. Moreover, I have tbr word of the guy WHO FOUGHT LOMO, as opposed to a random poster on a boxing board ( who doesn't like the kid, no less).

Some of your previous posts were reasonable. When you suggested that Salido was about the same quality of TBA-- Gary's typical opponent-- you lost all credibility.

Doesn't take a bird watcher's eye to see that Ramirez was able to hit Loma often. Loma had no jab and allowed Ramirez to walk and and throw punches.
That's what the jab is for. To keep your opponent off balance and outside. Loma had no jab in either of his pro fights.

Saildo won the title from who, before he lost it on the scales?
Saildo has fought a lot of people. In my eyes he is a durable journeyman with very limited skills and can take a lot of punishment.
He walked into Loma with ease, simply because Loma has no jab. :yep

So, with no jab, is Loma a Boxer or a banger? From his two Pro fights it's hard to say he is either. Looked like a Pre-Froch Lucien Bute to me.

You don't know what journeyman means. Someone who is top 5 or better in their division for years is not a journeyman at all, look it up troll

Although a journeyman, he was good enough to beat Loma, right trick. :yep

Level playing field Lomachenko beats Salido. He nearly KOed Salido even with all the advantages Salido had. Inexperience was not the reason Lomachenko lost. He lost because of a weight disadvantage and one of the worst referees in boxing.

    lol!

Don't take it so personal, Gimp.
This is just the boxing game.

After Saildo beat Loma there was a lot of noise and chatter about Loma facing Russell for the title.
    Won't happen!

Loma's management can't be so stupid to make the same mistake twice. Hopefully, Loma will be given the chance to come up slow and easy before he's put into the ring with Russell.

Bird watchers typically use binoculars when viewing birds. Perhaps you should try a pair when watching fights, since you clearly can't discern what constitutes getting a hit a lot.

Gary this, Gary that.... give it a rest, would? Or at least until the guy fights someone with a pulse.
