GRJ gets it from his daddy:

The fat **** is already trying to duck the Lomachenko fight, hinting that the fight would be rigged and that Lomachenko didn't earn his ranking (GRJ hasn't earned his shot, Lomachenko fought a better guy than anybody GRJ has fought in his pro debut). If a fight was ever going to be rigged in Lomachenko's favour it was the Salido fight, the fact that Lomachenko lost a fight many had him winning says that there was never anything in play like that. GRS is already trying to duck and making excuses for his son.

    His father may be right.
With all the hype around Loma, it is indeed possible.
Factor in the extreme amount of media hype behind many Russian B level fighters and one would be a fool to dismiss the possibility of a biased decision.
The Loma in his 2 nd Pro fight was able to bypass more deserving contenders does leave the impression of extreme favouritism.

I'm sure that GRJs father's comments may have been flavoured with the advice of Russell's representitive, Al Haymon, and Al would definitely know what's up.

Except he's obviously not right, as evidenced by Salido winning a split decision that could've/should've gone to Lomachenko. If you had no idea who is who and you watched that fight you'd think that Salido's team paid somebody off. Round after round Salido's corner had to encourage him and tell him that he's doing well, Salido looked defeated after the fight and Lomachenko believed he won until the decision was announced. Who hurt who, who landed more punches?

The fact that those sort of thoughts are in GRS head, with him and GRJ always talking about 'the business' just goes to show how little they believe in GRJ ability to speak for himself in the ring. GRJ himself is undeserving of a title shot, he's there simply on quantity rather than quality and by waiting it out. GRJ is B grade if I'm being very kind, I really hope he grows the testicles to take the Lomachenko challenge. I'll be very surprised to see GRJ agree to the fight, it's just a step up too far from TBA.

It was a close fight, but Saildo clearly edged it.

A boxer can't win a fight without throwing punches, and Loma, probably due to his lack of pro experience failed to throw enough punches. It's as simple as that.
GRJ was much more deserving of the title shot relative to the amateur. But, like Lucien Bute who has also not fought anyone to get the chance at the Super6 winner/runner-up, Loma was allowed to jump in line ahead of the more deserving.

The fight with Loma-GRJ will happen, IF the sport's premier advisor, Al haymon, believes that the money & conditions of the fight are right.
I'd imagine that even if he wants the fight badly, unlike Loma, Russell will heed the advice of his management.
After all, the Pro-Russian media and sanctioning bodies will definitely not show Russell the favouritism they have extended to loma.

A boxer can win a fight by landing more punches.. Lomachenko did that. A fighter can win by hurting his opponent.. Lomachenko did that. Did Lomachenko win more rounds? He did on my scorecard but I have no problem with someone claiming Salido won. The point is that it was a close fight and Salido got the nod, so to suggest that Lomachenko has his fights being rigged is ridiculous and based on fantasy.
What has GRJ done to deserve a shot? He hasn't beaten a contender yet. Ramirez was a contender, which is how Lomachenko earned his shot. What's really embarrassing and disrespectful to boxing is GRJ getting a shot at the title.
    Lomachenko isn't Russian either BTW.

    Loma lost the fight!

If you or I were able to over-rule the judges, I'm sure the outcome of many other fights would be different, but we can't.
Loma and his handlers took a risk and tried to jump in the front of the line. He had paid no dues to fight for a title in his 2nd pro fight.
He took the risk and it backfired in his face. He is now 1-1 as a pro.
The judges ruled in favor of Saildo, and that's how it's recorded on Loma's Pro record.

As I said, he definitely has potential.
Although he has potential, his amateur mindset showed clearly in both of his pro fights.
With his amateur mentality, at this stage Russell would pick him apart.

If Russell decides not to face him, like the earlier post mentioned, it's because Al Haymon advises not to take the risk because of some behind the scenes razza-matazz.

    LOL!

    SOME handspeed? :rofl:rofl

His hand speed to Loma's is as fast as Loma's are to Saildo. Maybe faster. :yep

Plus, Russell has something that Loma does not. A jab, and a very fast and accurate jab. Loma would be eating that jab for as long as the fight lasted.

At first I thought that Russell's height may be a disadvantage against Loma. Then I saw how Loma fights letting his opponent just walk in with even having to use a jab. That's when I realized that Russell could be 5 feet even, and his height would not effect his offensive effectiveness with Loma.
