Tomasz Adamek: "I am very happy I come back to Sands Casino. We had a good camp. I'm healthy. I believe we make a good fight with Glazkov for fans and for everybody. My dream is to be heavyweight champion."

Vyacheslav Glazkov: "I am very glad our bout is finally going to happen. I am ready for it 100% and I am ready to show good boxing." [Vyacheslav regarding sparring with Adamek] "It was long ago when we were in the ring (sparring). When we go in the ring this time it will be a war. I've had that experience before when I was fighting in the amateurs with my friends and my close team mates. It's not news to me."

I like this fight. Glazkov seems solid but if he's going to go anywhere in the division he has to beat someone like Adamek who is on the slide.

Its a pretty even fight but I think Adamek has enough to pull out a close decision.

On one hand it would be nice to see Glazkov win and put some new blood in the division. On the other hand Adamek is pretty much the face of NBC's boxing series and a win by him keeps that going.

Adamek's Last Hurrah, last run for a HW Title. And the other Klitschko stands in his way. Not good...

There is the matter of the vacant WBC and WBA kiddie titles floating around. We all know Adamek<Arreola.......if TA wins tomorrow, he could pursue the WBC title. If's he smart though, he'll go the route of the WBA kiddie belt. It still labels you as Champion, and with his fanbase and popularity, it would spell BIG$$$$$$ fights for him vs the likes of Monsour, Jennings, Chagaev, Ortiz, Kaufmann......all very winnable, and could actually build the WBA kiddie title into something legitimate. :think

He is coming off a layoff. I know he just fought Abell, but JA is a bottom 100, and even if he fought TA or VG coming off a loss it would be a solid 2nd fight back after the Haye debacles.

And since DelBoy seems more interested in ducking on their summer fight, Tyson is gonna be looking for a name opponent to be there.

Monsour would be a solid fight for Admaek, Glaskov, Fury......even if he gets his ears boxed off by Cunningham.:think

Glaskov has a fine resume for a guy with 16 fights. Even in defeat, he could come right back vs the Scott/Wlider loser, or even go for the USS/Monsour loser.:think

It's still breathing life into the division if you think about it.

It's high time some of these top 50s start fighting regularly so we can gauge who si and who aint top 25 contenders.:think

The NBC telecast starts at 5 PM Pacific/8 PM Eastern. They are showing the Chilemba-Grachev fight, I'm not sure about the Cintron fight.

The Adamek-Glazkov fight should start at about 9 PM Eastern/6 PM Pacific.

Glazkov has dedicated this fight to Ukraine's struggles against Russia - should be a motivated and determined opponent for Adamek.

Wtf why they having an eliminator when Wlad hasn't faced his mandatory?

Still, hopefully this is for real because these are both good fights and the fight between the winners would be even better.

    Good question.

Because Wlad has no intention of facing Pulev. Why do you think he has to fight guy after guy and Leapai can get a shot straight away?

Because Leapai fits the k2 requirement to fight Wlad and Pulev does not.

Wtf? No he hasn't he said he hopes the political unrest and fighting stops. He's from Lugansk so i doubt he's happy about Western backed Neo-Nazi's in Kiev appointing oligarchs as mayors and trying to supress democracy by leading more armed coups over local governments in Eastern and Southern Ukraine where he is from.
