Look at that this thread has turned into. Look at the hate he attracts. He's the best ever. No the greatest, because greatness has a lot to do with being loved .

But he's the most complete fighter ever. There are no holes in his game. At all .

yet all of this and none of them pick Pac to win. None of them would put a dime on Pac if the fight was signed today. Pbf was the favorite when this fight was being talked about at the books.

    I don't understand the question?

But what I think ur saying, my response is: That particular moment, maybe the odds of a KO were magnified by a series of fortunate events... e.g. the "tripping" (if u say so ), but he's landed that counter right on Pacquiao many times...

Floyd Mayweather jr is indeed one of the most naturally talented boxers I have ever seen. BUT!! That alone does not make him a great champion. To be truly great he would have to take on all comers like the true greats Muhammad Ali & Sugar Ray Robinson. They had the BALLS of a real champion to go along with their skills. I hear some of you saying " But look how many losses they had Floyd is undefeated" ROFL
Floyd is undefeated because he has DUCKED the best opposition & cherry picked the ones he's confident he can beat Thats not a real champion thats a PRETENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had Floyd manned up and faced Paquaio, Margarito, William, & even Cotto before Margarito totally demolished him, he may well have beaten them all Then he really would be the ATG he foolishly claims he is today, even if he lost one or two fights, instead he will always be remembered as a very talanted WANNABEE!!!!!

that doesn't make the shot lucky, but rather it means that was great shot. Just because a shot is difficult, doesn't mean it's luck when someone makes that shot. It means you threw up a great shot.

Unless the guy is known for making half court shots, the shot was a hail marry... Might as well has his eyes closed...

Was it a good shot? SURE! Was it lucky? I can't imagine it not being lucky...

How about if I put it this way, u play the slot machine with intentions of winning... So when u pull the slot and hit the jackpot, does that not count as lucky? Was that just a great pull?

Nothing to be :conf Garcia defying the odds everytime, shows he has a hard to detect capability to defeat adversaries...I will tentatively credit to his underrated ring IQ, Iron Chin/Will...mainly mental aspects, as psychological warfare and mental strengthening seems to be Angel Garcia MO :think

 How are the two situations the same? The slot machine determines if the player wins whereas the player determines if the shot goes in.

Those are non comparable. You don't control your own destiny on the slots. Everytime you shoot a basketball, throw a punch, throw a football, it can be broken down into math. There is a perfect equation for every perfectly executed objective. If you throw a hail mary, and the reciever you need to catch it, needs the ball to be at 77 yards, if you throw it 78 then it was overthrown, and if you throw it 76 it was underthrown because no matter where it ended up, it wasnt directly on target. If you throw a counter punch, that needs to be loaed .05 seconds before your opponent comes in, and you load in .04 seconds before he comes in then its NOT ON TARGET. if you shoot a basketball from half court, and the distance is 40ft feet for a perfect swish, and you shoot the ball a distance of 41ft then its hitting the back iron and its no good.

There is no luck. Just math.

Marquez' punch wasn't lucky. It was PERFECT.
