The crowd booed like Hell because they knew that left hook was a slap and the right was blocked. You could also tell that the punches had nothing on them, more like arm punches.................the rumors before appear to be correct, so I guess Scott made more money by taking a dive, but he might catch hell for his bad acting.............

If it was a dive, Wilder and his team were completely unaware of it. Just observe his body language before and after the fight. He and Breland looked genuinenly nervous/anxious before and relieved/excited afterwards. Fighters who are in on a fix don't react like that.

And a side note, Maliks son was watching ringside. I don't know a single fighter with any dignity or self pride who would throw a fight in such an obvious and embarrassing manner with their family present. Just sayin.

Wilders left had little on it and the right barely grazed the top of Scotts head. Scott is an embarrassment to to do this in front of his son, but perhaps his son gets a new bike as part of the deal. Total fix.

    :rofl

Hype that slap hook up all you want. 9 out of 10 people would call that a pitiful punch and pitiful punch resistance. 10 out of 10 experienced boxing fans watching professionals boxers should say the same.

Audley Harrison would have given a better p4p give up performance.

Whether the fix was in or not, Scott voluntarily went to the canvas - you can tell, and his attempted fumble smacks of a man who is doing something he knows he shouldn't be.

Anthony Joshua's last opponent did the same thing - you could tell it was a fall that he initiated, not one thanks to his nervous system....

1 - Scott clearly winks at Wilder before the KO
2 - Scott comes in overweight so probably didn't train, perhaps knowing he wouldn't need to go beyond the first.
3 - The right hand does not land
4 - The left hook was an arm punch to set up the right, it did not have enough force to have that effect, even if landed on the temple.
5 - We've seen Scott take harder shots from Chisora and Glazkov, so his chin is not that bad.
6 - Wilder is obviously very over protected
7 - Wilder got highly ranked by WBC without beating anyone of note and get's guaranteed a title shot
8 - Wilder and Scott are friends
9 - Scott's eyes were clear and focused on Wilder as he went down

I'd say it was a dive. Too much about Wilders career has been fabricated through careful match making and manipulation of the sanctioning bodies. Is it really that big a step to think Scott was paid to take a dive based upon what we know and what we saw last night? I don't think so.

what gave it away was the way scott reacted to the right. he was like oh you hit me, now i will fall down. the right never landed on his chin

I dont think he did.. Pretty embarassing to go out after the first shots whoch didnt even land cleanly. Atleast would have made myself look decent for a bit and gone down.
