:deal 100% sure that Matthysse would not be able to solve Herrera. Garcia outpointed him very slightly, but Matthysse would have looked helpless in there. Herrera is a stylistic nightmare for someone like Matthysse. A crafty veteran, uses different angles, does different things every round to confuse opponents.
No sir. Styles. Without the Left hook, Danny punches like a *****. Lucas had two fisted power, plus he won't try to box. He would bomb him out.
i don't think so. Styles make fights and Matthysse is a great clinch/inside banger and would have shrugged Herrera off easier than Garcia.
WTF are you talking about? Yes, the "*****" moniker used to describe your posts would be correct. Personally, I would just label you a fanboy in general, because Garcia clearly lost that fight and you can't see it because you like the guy. It doesn't seem to be limited to Floyd with you. Your thread about the "punch stats" was beyond ridiculous. Anybody worth their salt in regard to being able to watch and score a fight, knows those statistics don't mean ****. I have no idea how you could score that fight for Garcia. And it was clear from the get go, early in the fight after Showtime peaked at the judges cards, that Herrera was going to get robbed. That is what made it sad for me.... You know right away that Herrera had no chance of winning the decision unless he did something dramatic. Pathetic.
Matthysse has developed into a boxer-puncher but due to his chin and power he uses more power than most boxer-punchers. Kinda like Khan with his speed advantage. Garcia and Matthysse are different. Matthysse would bring a completely different game plan and difficulties to the ring.
No one knew Matthysse when he fought Judah. Feel free to correct me but i believe most picked Alexander over him and the only person he failed to KO or beat was Danny. Boy has 32 KO´s in 38 fights:roll: Knocked out Peterson, Soto and Corley. Thats somewhat impressive. The only ones to knock Peterson down and not get their **** pushed in in the later rounds are Matthysse and Bradley.
