It looks like the Matthysse fight was a Pyrrhic victory. He won the fight, but the poor chap lost the war. Good thing his dad cares enough to never make that rematch again for the sake of his son's health. Just like he knows better than to put him in against Provodnikov.

 

Garcia landed more power punches. Herrera threw more jabs but the only real damage he did was through his numerous head butts. These should have been penalized by the referee. Had the referee deducted points as he should have done the margin of victory would have been clearer to those who say Garcia lost.
