The left hook took his equilibrium. /end thread. Some of you seriously have problems with deductive reasoning. Question for the many who says it was "fixed" : If the fight was fixed as you claim, why go down so early in the 1st? After one punch? Do you honestly believe that people who are "capable of fixing a professional boxing match" would be stupid enough to give the instructions: "as soon as he hits you, go down and act knocked out." It's hilarious and stupid. On one hand, you guys give these 'people' the benefit of the doubt that they are connected and intelligent enough to have an organization capable of fixing a professional boxing match, yet on the other hand, they are apparently too incompetent to not have a guy go down after one punch? Yea, because that's how I would fix a fight.... by making it obvious as heck. :nut
I agree that the left hook was legit. That was the shot, not the right. But also looked like he quit.
Possibly could have said F this after that shot did the damage it did. Either way, the fight was not "fixed" like people are crowing. That is just lunacy.
They should of practiced the dive more during their sparring sessions. It wasnt very convincing. They can go back being now to being homies, hanging out and being good friends and cut out the acting.
As already stated-it matters not if it was an agreed "fix" or just Malik not waning to continue, or whatever .. as above poster said , it has NO PLACE in professional boxing. that man was not knocked out
It was a decent 1-2. It was shot high on the temple. Wilder...has all kos and some in the first round!
Golden boy becoming the next don king? we all knew it was going to happen, corruption is rampant in our sport. I haven't bought a ppv in years and if they try to make wilder a ppv star I will not bother watching him.
i watched the fight over and over again. it is bs. that left was not hard enough to stop him. scott said after the fight that he was senseless from the left hand. complete bs. no doubt fight was fixed. scott ws hit by harder shots and got up
Scott was knocked out by a huge man with dynamite in his fists, get it? It was only a 'setup' in that Golden Boy picked a guy for Wilder with a decent name but without the chin or class to get up from a punch like that.
