    If u want to break down the fight and say he lost, thats fine. I thought he lost also and im a big fan and a Rican.

    ALL this "Garcia sucks now" Is just a dumb comment. I'll keep it real. Garcia took him lightly, that simple. All fighters do this in the career at some point (Expect for Mayweather IMO) where they take a fighter lightly and then there in the battle of there life. Herrea is game and is a good fighter. Garcia thought it was gonna be a walk in the park and it wasnt. Plus fighting in his country for the first time put lots of pressure on him.

    Now im not making excuses for him, I thought he lost. But to say he sucks, or all these other fighters will destroy him, or Khan will beat him now because u this fight, GIMME A BREAK!! Garcia still beats anybody at 140, NO DOUBT!! This is a good wake up call for him, hit the gym and get better.

    Now u guys can hold onto this fight forever. When Garcia is 35-0 and WW champ u guys can say" Well he lost to Herrera so hes not undefetead" SO do what you do.

    Morale of the story. Just cause he got in a war with herrea and didnt look good doesnt mean Matthysse will beat him in a rematch, doesnt Khan will beat him in a rematch, Lay off the sauce folks :hi::hi:

    It puts Garcia in prospective... Including prospective for the Matthysse fight

    Most objective people, including the official judges, had Matthysse winning about 4 or 5 of the first 6 rounds (pre-swelling)... Garcia took over after the swelling, but people wanted to argue that he "adjusted" to Matthysse...

    This fight shows he's unable to adjust mid-fight like everyone says, so it's more than fair to conclude Matthysse would have continued to win rounds and eventually the fight had his eye not swelled

    agree totally, its the knee jerk reaction on this forum to overhype a win or call someone a bum when he loses or gets a gift, as Danny did last night. It was hard style to look good against. hey is Provdnikov a bum, no! hey Danny lost and I am also a Rican, but Danny is no bum. Herrera deserves a rematch, but it wont happen. I am sure he will be avoided by others.

    I'm not mad at Garcia. After all, he wasn't the one who failed to correctly judge the fight. I had Garcia losing 8 rounds to 4. Maybe a draw could be argued, but that's a big maybe. Bad decisions are the thing that most pisses me off about boxing. A close second is bad refereeing.

    Exposed by what? That hes not very good because he fought a good fighter that was game and he took him lightly?

    You can't say for sure he beats anyone at 140. I mean you yourself just said you thought he lost.
    Saying Garcia took him lightly IS making excuses.
    Do I think Danny is a bum? No. Do I think Khan beats him in a rematch? No. Do I think Matthysse beats him in a rematch? Maybe.
    You saying he beats everyone at 140 NO DOUBT, is gonna be 35-0 and WW champ is just as bad as people saying Garcia sucks.

    No its not as bad because hes proving against the best he can get it done. He doenst lose to anybody at 140, got money all that!!

    Especially since team Garcias been preaching for months about not taking Herrera lightly.
