The point is buck it wasn't a power shot! So you can take that 6'7 frame and throw it out the window, if he isn't using his frame to generate power then what does it matter how big he is. There is no way in hell that punch hurt Malik badly enough to drop him like it did. Most likely conclusion to be reached is that it was a dive, quickly followed by a quit. There are of course various other reasons why this is also being called a fix but I need not go into them because it has been rehashed a thousand times.
When I saw it I thought it was a dive since it looked like he got hit in the gloves and not in the face. But then again, how would Scott gain anything off taking a dive against ****ing Wilder? It's not like Wilder it some superstar who makes boat loads of cash, and has the drawing power to pay Scott a hefty sum to take a dive.
Yea its fishy im just posting Scott's quotes, and i think to say he wasnt hurt at all by a temple shot is not an accurate statement
Very true, plus if Scott wins he gets a title shot so im not buying the dive. why fight your whole life to a win a title and then a take a dive?
but how do u know/we know that it wouldnt hurt you at all. especially if a man has all wins by KO and his last fight had a do twitching on the canavas?
I mean the dude in his last fight almost dying in the ring! Oh i get it, u didnt see that fight atschatsch
Gotta agree with you I have sparred and those shots make you dizzy and make you loose equilibrium but you feel those shots, those are power shots and mostly when you are fighting inside or are coming in for a punch, Wilder's shot doesn't have the power you generate when you put your legs and hips into the punch, it was an arm punch
Easy. If you watch the sport you would know that punch isn't a knockdown punch. History tells us that. Knowledge about punching technique tells us that. Also if Wilder really has this "freakish" power you claim he has, which I very much doubt, has Wilder done that to any of his previous opponents? Is he known for knocking people out like that? No. So lets move on shall we.
Ortiz caught a massive punch flush on the chin that clearly took everything from his legs, getting hit with a left hook when throwing your own is one of the most damaging shots you can take, say what you want about Ortiz but he was legitimately hurt no doubt about it, Scott took a slap and his acting was far from oscar worthy, I must be a ****ing genius then because before the fight I said expect Scott to hit the dirt as soon as Deontay throws a meaningful punch...He didn't even have to do that!! I bet Wilders team are over the moon that there are people as gullible as you in this world. Over on CHB someone said they don't rate Wilder but that "he would still beat every heavyweight but Wlad" Check out the punch that Chisora knocked down Kevin Johnson with, now if Wilder had landed a that looked a quarter as flush as that then we could say it was a legit KO, but this whole thing is far too convenient and I said this before the fight so don't tag me as someone who will just refuse to give Wilder credit, because I said this was just more careful matchmaking and that Scott would look for a way out the second Wilder unloads
