I think 2 more wins over mediocre opposition and he could get a world title shot based on him being a name opponent. If he loses, hopefully he calls it time for good. Is he still going to be fighting as a lightweight???
There are some very damaged ex fighters getting around. You only have to look around fight crowds to see them. I just hope fighting on doesn't guarantee Kats a place in that group.
Gotta say I worry about where Kats thinks he is and actually is. I believe if he watched this fight and compared it to a fight like the one against Kevin Mitchell he would realise there is a gulf in comparison where ability and skills are concerned. I credit him for his passion but he would need to ramp up considrably and quickly in the basics to make this journey second time round worthwhile. Good luck to him, I hope he does get there, one of my all time favorite fighters. It hurts to see fruitless comebacks with pointless acquired damage to the fighter.
He got hit too many times from that journeyman...... He should fight another 2 cans and cash out with a fight o/s if he can.... The guys toast now
Katsidis, who was by all reports fortunate to get the win over Phillipino Rodynie Rafol over 6 rounds late last month, has another fight in the pipeline.
Lets face it, the damage has been already done. Btw i heard that he planning to stay on the domestic scene only.
