round 2 was wild!! Dont know what to think about it though. Juanma still has no defense. he has a punch to hang with anyone but anybody really disciplined gets him out of there like Mikey. For Ponce, i really like the guy. To bad hes been in some close fights and hasnt got the nod. Even though Mares dropped him twice i thought he was doing good in that fight. Thought he did good against Broner also and had Juanma down but ref stopped it. He said he might retire, that wouldnt be the worst thing he can do. dont see him winning a title again SO what was your take on that fight? Whats next for Juanma?
Surprising to see Ponce lose in that fashion. Not smart to slug with Juanma but honestly, I think it says more about a surprising telling of falling off by Ponce more than it does show legitimacy of Juanma. It is a good win and for Juanma at this point, a very big one.
I thought it was stopped to soon. I got a chance to watch it this morning. And I thought Ponce had something left. Can't blame the ref though, he made a judgement call.
