Teddy Atlas: 'Mike Tyson’s a phony'

Well if this is recent I think it is pretty shitty of Atlas to say after the whole ordeal on FNF a few months back. Tyson isn't a saint and we all know that but Atlas could at least keep these comments to himself.

 

He's a dick (and even resembles one), what else is new. :conf

 

Atlas is bitter but Tyson was phony.

Tyson's stage show - the undisputed truth - goes into some detail about the Tyson-Atlas-young niece story and maybe Mike shouldn't have brought it up in such detail as he did, but Atlas probably got pissed off that he was getting his balls broken by Mike and here comes this rant.

When I watched the stage show and Tyson discussed that issue I had this feeling 'oh man, the Atlas beef is going to start again'.

 

Atlas might have issues of his own, but as they say, even a broken clock is right twice a day...

I think thats a lot of the angst towards all the commentators we see on forums.

Though I will say, in this case I agree... I do think you would do much better than Teddy. Teddy often reminds me how much I want a separate sound channel for the announcers.. would be pretty great to hear the gloves but not the chatter.

 

...says the guy who claims he has emails that prove Pacquiao is a cheater. Where are those emails Teddy?

Remember the time Teddy said he could take a heavyweight and beat the Klitschkos easy, then he proceeds to take on Povetkin and regress him back to amateur level, then bailed on Povetkin when he was about to fight Wladimir.......Atlas is the phony here.

I thought they made up? Teddy seems to pipe shut to Tysons face.

 

This is the reason i started hating Atlas years ago. Makes his name on bashing a guy who would ****ing destroy him.

I would pay PPV money to see Atlas' heart tested since he seems to think that most men are below him.

 

You should do something. A podcast or something. Half the people, at least half, in the boxing media have a lower boxing IQ then just an average boxing enthusiast, let alone an elite one like yourself. You have a good view backed by a lot of knowledge of the sport.
