Why weren't you clamoring when Herrera was given a gift decision vs Provodnikov? Provodnikov deserved a rematch then but was never given it. I don't understand the logic.

who said that? Provodnikov beat Herrera in a close but clear victory. I never said Garcia would beat Herrera easily. Thought it would be close going in.

I scored Herrera vs. Provodnikov a draw. The scores are all over the place but by no means is Prov regarded as a "consensus winner" of that fight in the same manner that Herrera is over Garcia despite losing. Plenty of valuable opinions have expressed their score for Herrera over Provodnikov.

Either way, I remember everyone on forums after the fight saying Provodnikov was an entertaining fighter who would never surpass FNF level; as his close fight with Augustus/Corley (forget which one) was around the same time and was also a fight where Prov did not look good and looked mindless and limited.

My bad I confused you for someone else. :good

I don't think there too many espn rematches unless its FOTY candidate like Delvin vs the polish guy. But prov should get a rematch and ill look fowrd to it.

I'm tired of the whole ****ing "rematch" thing altogether. Every fight is ****ed up by the judges. Yes, there should be a rematch. But only because Herrera won and should be champ. And he should give the champ a chance to get his belt back.

    1. Herrera beat Garcia more clearly than Provodnikov vs Herrera which could have gone either way.

    2. Garcia vs Herrera was for the Belts at 140, while Ruslan match was not

    3. Garcia said he is going to tear Herrera's asss up but failed to deliver, Ruslan Provodnikov went into the fight with a black eye.

    4. Al Haymon had no 'apparent' influence on the Provodnikov match, but since Al Haymon is a crafty guy it won't be surprising if he did.

    5. Garcia vs Herrera was on the big scale while Provodnikov match up was more low key.

....... more points can be raised if needed.
