I think the difference between Maidana and Floyd's previous opponents is that he won't be discouraged. He'll get countered but keep coming forward.

 

If Marcos had more speed and could keep up a pace that aggressive he'd have a much better shot at upsetting Floyd....unfortunately he's moving in "SloMo" through Floyd's lenses.....just like Rios was moving so slow for Manny. It will be difficult for Miadana to get anything going because he just doesn't have enough quickness to really catch Mayweather. Garcia did say that "anything is possible"....and he's right. So Marcos has that on his side.

I hope that you don't truly believe this. He might continue coming forward, but his punch count is going to go waaayyyy down, just like every other fighter and he will start being much more tentative, once he starts his steady diet of counter punches that Floyd will serve him.
