Porter is a good young fighter, but I've seen Julio Diaz take rounds off him, Alfonso Gomez take rounds from him... No reason, in my mind, that Paulie can't take 7 or 8 rounds and win a close decision. Not to mention, despite showing NO power, Paulie is probably fighting at the highest level of his career right now. I see him sticking that jab all night for a close win :bbb:bbb
I'm on board with Paulie in this fight....the way he handled Broner...I think his experience is going to be too much for Porter and will edge him out!!!
It's a tough call.....I think Paulie has a chance because he has physical qualities that would give Porter problems....like speed and a slick style....but Porter won't be worried about Paulie's power too much and Porter has good pop. The fact that Porter is short and not very long will be a disadvantage because he's going to have to fight at close range in order to have his best chance at landing his shots. From the outside Paulie has an easier time controlling the action and finding his rhythm. I'm torn......Paulie is a live dog. Wouldn't be surprise if he pulled it off.....but also wouldn't be surprised if Porter was fresher and ended up wearing Paulie out.
Dont see it. Porter is a lot better than Broner. Paulie will try and outhustle him with his jab, but I see Porter wearing him down as the fight progresses.
Porter is freakin tough. He literally did walk through Alexander, showed no respect for any power he had, and beat him down. He leaps in against Paulie and does the same thing.
paulie is a smart fighter and he knows wut to expect. its gunna be competitive fight. but i think porter will beat him using same style vs alexander
I think Paulie will pull it off as well... he's an experienced veteran and the way he fought Broner tells me he can do it... not to mention i have become a huge fan of his after listneing to his commentary... paulie for the win
