Yeah, the only reason Wilder hasn't been starched is he has YET, after FIVE years as a pro, to have faced anyone even as good as Jonathan Banks - let alone Chris Arreola. But the cash out is coming soon. Wilder's management will not be able to protect his fragile whiskers much longer. His inevitable canvas nap will likely take place before the year is out.
What's questionable is I want to know how Wilder lost his basketball and where he stumbled upon some boxing gloves . He's the most ridiculously thing I've seen in the ring that is trying to be passed off as an up n comer .
Why should Wilder fight a top ten contender? He got ranked #3 WBC without fighting anyone ranked.................. The two punches he threw against Scott were arm punches, wouldn't knock out your grandmother. The left hook was a slap and the right hand did not land, Scott blocked it. If the left hook knocked Scott out, then how did he block the right hand? Plus, they were arm punches. The crowd booed because it was obvious.............
Lets look at why he is undefeated. Seth Mitchell was 'undefeated' at one point also. He stepped up and got his Glass Jaw shattered by a Journeyman level Heavyweight. Then stepped back up and got it shattered again in record time by Arreloa. Mitchell proved he could feast on bums just like Wilder has it is what happens when you actually step up that matters.
"Had and would've", lmao. Mitchell WAS being moved too fast for a guy who just started boxing. Wilder might lose, and he might even have what you call a glass jaw, but until that is proven...it's a wait and see thing. They said the same thing about Ali when Sonny Banks and Cooper put him down. All this before he fought big bad Sonny Liston.
Mitchell actually has better boxing skills than Wilder, it's just that he can't take a punch and didn't know how to clinch and survive when dazed, if he had that stuff then he would have been a solid fighter.
