Larry Holmes: "If you want to get technical about it" end of quote

Boxers box for 2 reasons, nothing else
    #1 Money 99%
    #2 Legacy 1%

You can never have both :nono

Al Haymon, attractive matching weeds out cashout seekers, who are willing to fight at mental or physical disadvantages. The proud and mighty, train & will never ever lose :nono

No is forced to lose, unless they know they can't win in the first place...Stop bitching about Haymon, he is paying boxers good...He is using his money to invest in boxing, use your money or STFU deal with it :deal

Are you actually saying we, on this internet message board, shouldn't criticize Al Haymon if we're not managing and paying fighters?

    Now, I've heard it all!

You do know that the fans do pay money to watch boxing?

I'll just assume you're an epic troller and move on.

If youve never been a racketeer, you shouldnt criticize someone else for it.

Also.. FYI... Haymon is not the one who puts up the money. He doesnt pay anything, he GETS paid BY the fighter. Not the other way around.

Average fan puts more money INTO boxing.. Haymon just charges money for access.

There is evidence that Haymon is investing out of his pocket, in many occasions. An investment to gain a stronger foothold in boxing, which is working

"I don't want to risk a penny out of my pocket" mentality = small time influence in boxing

Al Haymon toke a bigger risk, Arum/King were adventurous.

Haymon had access to decent resources, he chose boxing. Lots of Millionaires thought they can influence boxing with a % of their wealth...they quickly found out, they have to commit to 100% power punching or GTFOH, the richest today are usually weak inheritance lineage...so no way they can compete in boxing...where the top guys are predatory types :yep

You see this in Russia, Asia were DKSAB Billionaires think they can run boxing with a few millions :patsch
