    Light Heavy 12st7lbs
    Cruiser 14st 4lbs

Anyone else think this is too much of a jump in weight between divisions, ot a kick in the balls of 2st is a big jump imo , Seeing Bellew make the change to me it looks like hes put it on in cakes no muscle mass or definition , just looked a flabby mess imo ,

Should there be a weight division in between say 13 st 7sh ??

I do see your point but the last thing boxing needs is more divisions and more titles that would accompany those new divisions.

Its not really the type of division to move up to, your either a LHW or a CW, if your like Bellew think you just gotta try your hardest to make LHW

Think I read Rios doesnt eat for a few days up til the say of the fight, people like Bellew have to do that

It is a big jump, I wouldn't make more divisions but I would be in favour of a reshuffle of the weight limits. 3lbs at the lower end of the scale is too small a difference, 25lbs at the top is too large.

Tbh even at LHW i thot bellew looked a flabby bag a shite on the scales so him saying he killed himself to make the weight is strange as there was never a hint of any Abs obliques or any skelotal muscle atall to mention

Meh, physique and boxing don't always go hand in hand. Based on appearance who would pick Calzaghe to beat Lacy? (ok not many did at the time)
Some boxers never look muscular regardless of the weight. Enzo looks no leaner at LHW than CW for example.

Give it time. You can't put on a good stone of muscle in the space of, what? Half a year? That's especially true for a man of his age (what is he? 31?) - he's going to have to grow into the weight gradually, and it'll take a little bit of time.

Paul Smith hit the nail on the head he needs weight in muscle via a good clean bulk of SnC training as he looked a fleshy unconditioned mess tbh

I think more divisions could work at the higher end.

Get CW back to its original 190. Have super-cruiser or whatever at 210.

There is no problem, imo, messing with it. The heavyweights of today aren't the same as a few decades back anyway. Take the new 200 limit for CW, and a day to rehydrate, and that's going to be similar to HWs of the past.

The sport has developed to the point where a change is needed.

Sure, but as I say it takes time to put on muscle. You can't put pounds and pounds of muscle in a month, and it's especially true if you're a man of 31.

Yeah cos that's really healthy and good for you! I totally disagree with the boiling down to a stupid weight and then gaining a stone or whatever after the weight in. Not good for your body, losing and gaining a few pounds is fine. IMO there should be a limit's to these amounts.
