Like the thread title gonna stop the haters from entering...lol. Anyway I'm a big Broner fan and think he has alot of skill and can still be a force in boxing for years to come. But, one thing that did bother me in his last fight was when after he got knocked down after the second round. He told his cornerman "hey I got this" don't worry" when instructions were given. He was already down 2 rounds at the point plus the knockdown. During the late stages of the fight when his cornerman told him he needed a knockout he told them "to chill the hell out". Don't get to excited". One thing Broner has to learn is to listen in tough situations and give up some of his "extra" activities if he once to be on top again. What are some of you all thoughts?
Fan of his skills and style inside the ring.....but his persona and personality outside the ring is painful. Wish the kid the best because he's got a lot of talent and can go far. He's got a lot of distractions inside his team so hopefully he can sort that **** out and get back to business. He's also trying to be a rapper. You can't have both at this level.
Not a fan, but I'm a supporter, and the fact that he's a minority who's made it to that level, makes me want to see him win. But he needs to get rid of the yes man he has around him, and get some people who can push him forward. No way you can have somebody in your corner who thinks its okay for their fighter to say " I got this". he got his father brushing his hair and ****. Pops is supposed to be the one person IF NO ONE ELSE IN THE WORLD, who keeps it a buck with you. He needs a change of scenery and get in a camp with people who can push him to that next level. He could either be Floyd or Judah, time will tel though
I'm glad he is such a nice guy that he decided he doesnt want to give Floyd his first loss :rofl:rofl P4P #1 deluded. On a serious note he should adjust his style to his abilities not Floyds, he tries so hard to be Floyd that he got dropped because of it and lost, his defense is average for top level and so is his power at 147, he needs to realize his flaws and work on them but honestly i think he isnt smart enough to acknowledge that. His time beating smaller guys is over.
Broner is finished. Him & his team live in a little dream world. Has has a personality disorder and he is shielded from the truth and real world by his team who are all too afraid to criticize and tell him he needs to get his sh*t straight. It's not normal for a grown man to act the way he does then have another group of men clapping and cheering him while he does some shoddy flashy padwork. LOL. At this point you Broner supporters should just hope Maidana hasn't damaged him mentally or physically...
We will see what happens. He took Maidana lightly and got some humble pie, might be exactly what he needs to be the next great
