I agree. The reason I mentioned it was broken because it was prime Duran who lost to De Jesus. Duran beat him twice afterwards. That means he lost cuz he was either unlucky or took him too lightly and was unprepared. Mayweather has never been unlucky in the ring nor has he ever underestimated an opponent or shown up unprepared. Duran is definitely greater than Floyd, but too unlucky and undisciplined to ever remain undefeated.

That's the question I was wondering too. One thing I'm absolutely positive of, is that Mayweather couldn't have fought Duran's comp and kept is "0".

Floyd would lose a few times on longevity alone. I mean the last fight Duran had was at 50 years old if I'm not mistaken. So those fights at an advanced age would almost definitely be a loss. I don't think Floyd ever loses to De Jesus, Simms, that Laing dude, and I actually don't see him losing to Benitez. I think Leonard is a 50/50 fight and he definitely loses to Hearns, Hagler, and Berkley. That's how I see it. Btw I am a Benitez fan. It's a matter of styles.

He knocked down a prime Barkley. He knocked out a horse you dumbass. He had one of the best right hands in history.

Well it was a three punch combo, but to me that is my favorite fight. I can watch it over and over and over again. (and do). But he definitely had Barkley hurt in other rounds during the fight, but that went both ways. I can't even imagine a Mayweather or Pac even getting in the ring with a guy like Barkley, never mind winning the fight.

I have a much higher opinion of De Jesus than you do. But for Duran, I think he'd be a household name today, and Simms beat Barkley btw, so he couldn't have been that bad, although truthfully I never saw either fight; Simms - Barkley or Simms - Duran. But he knocked out Barkley in 6 and beat Duran by a split decision, so I doubt the Pac's and the Mayweather's would be stepping in the ring with him as he's no welterweight and Hearns came out on the short end against Barkley that alone tells me he's got lots of power.

Arguments like this tend to have flawed answers.

People say he'd have lost to ODLH, and then people retort by saying "in his prime he'd have beat ODLH". If every ATG was at their prime forever, they'd probably never lose.

The fairest way to assess it is looking at Duran's losses and comparing them as best you can with who Floyd fought at that stage in an age-by-age analysis.

For example, would the Duran who lost to Robbie Sims beat Cotto? Both fights took place when Floyd and Duran were 35.

Would the Duran who lost to Kirkland Laing have beaten Hatton or Marquez?

Reverse this... Would PBF go through Duran`s resume undefeated ... I mean look at Duran`s resume compared Floyd`s... Zero comparison, Duran fought everyone form 135 -160...

Duran would KO Ortiz within 3 rds, and he wouldn`t need a cheap shot to do it either...

Run circles maybe. Box circles? Absolutely not, DLH is overrated by most as a boxer, he beat opposition by being the quicker, faster, bigger fighter period. Boxistically he's not of a high class.

I also have a high opinion of De Jesus, and I can concede on all the points you've made. The point I was trying to make is that unlike Duran Floyd is never unlucky (judges, ref, etc...) nor does he ever underestimate his competition nor show up unprepared. The same can't be said of Duran, yet he is still greater than Floyd. If/when Floyd loses it won't be because he was ill prepared nor for underestimating his opponent.
