Could Wlad fit him in between Leapai and Fury/Chisora? If not he's going to have to wait until 2015 as the WBC don't even rank him. He needs a big fight imo.

Klychko should have fought Pulev before Leapai who only recently became WBO mandatory and if he doesn't fight him next should be stripped.

Pulev turned down a shot at Vlad, said he needed, at least, another fight first. Vlad can't fight more than one mandatory at one time.............

Look at the nuthuggers whining about Wlad 'having ' to fight WBO mando and at the same time Wlad is clearly avoiding his IBF against a righer ranked and better opponent.

Wlad will take another voluntary after his fake mando against Leapai with a similar calibre opponent.

Strip him. He doesn't deserve the title of champion.

Oh do shut up. It's not like Pulev is a particularly interesting challenge anyway. If he fights the Fury-Chisora winner after Leapai, nobody should complain.

Than is not true. Pulev is waiting patiently for his shot and was ready to take it back then and is ready right now.

Everyone should know that something has to happen because it is very unlikely Wlad disrupts his fight pattern of two fights a year. So someone has to suffer through further waiting.

Either he has to be stripped of his IBF belt (he has mentioned on several occasions that he wants to unify) - this is not very likely. Or he will bend the rules just as his brother Vitali and make some of the organisations wait for their mandates for more than a year and half.

Wlad does not want any part of Pulev so he will make sure they don't face each other this year. In the meantime he would hope Pulev to lose by some of the stupid warm ups that he is forced to take in order to keep himself active...

Also remember that the official plan for them is to face each other in September or October. And this is not so unlikely because it would be too soon for the winner of Chisora/Fury and Pulev has steadily gained popularity in Germany so financially wise this fight makes sense now.

It looks like Wlad will wait for Pulev to lose to someone. So that means giving up the belt if necessary. The risk/reward ratio is way better in a Gaye or Povetkin rematch or in fighting Fury or Chisora. All those fights are more lucrative for Wlad so maybe he'll use that excuse (that he's just trying to make as much money and put on the biggest fights he can) to duck Pulev.

Wlad can't sell tickets for the Leapai fight and tickets were given away for free against Thompson II.

He makes money from advertising and ripping off guys in voluntary fights.

He's not interested in whats lucrative and making big fights. He just wants to milk the remainder of his career with easy defenses.
