It probably will, you often gain strength with size. His opponents could also be stronger though.

Khan & Danny Garcia will both heal up at 147 & become formidable enough for Mayweather :smoke

They call Lucas "The machine" but I think Khan might be deserving of that nickname....constantly repeats the same **** lol.

The punches he will be receiving will be harder, not good for someone with an eggshell chin and non existent defense.

Also he is not a power puncher even at his original weight so moving up will do is slow him down. 'Stronger' is pretty non specific and typical of the constant blather that comes out of his mouth.

Still, here's to more epic chicken dances!

Everyone gets stronger if they put on 7 Pounds of muscle - that's a no-brainer. The question is if he will be stronger in relative terms - that is - his opponents will be 7 Pounds heavier as well and larger than he is used to.

Depends who he fights. Malignaggi, Mayweather and Bradley at 147 probably don't hit as hard as Maidana, Garcia, Matthysse or Provodnikov at 140.

True, he will eventually run out of feather fisted opponents though. There aint many guys in that division whose power Khan would stand up to.
