Of course Floyd is a great fighter, nobody is denying that. What people complain about is he is avoiding fighters for ABSOLUTELY no good reason. He'd beat Pac IMO, yet he is **** scared of him.

Pac is definitely a warrior. He would fight anyone his team tell him to.

lol because when your worth hundreds of millions street fights are a great idea.. actually street fights have and never will be a good idea, as no one really wins in the end and if you are a famous athlete you risk legal action and smear campaigns on you. the fact that you even make these threads show you know nothing about the sport. i box myself i know tons of boxers from all ranges of skill level barely into the amateurs to seasoned professionals, some i know better then others but basically all of them are the most humble people and most you would not pick to be fighters.

to dedicate yourself to a sport like boxing it takes a whole lot... you must truly want to become a successful boxer and really love your craft, i think those people who take up boxing to "crack some heads on the street" just burn out as its to weak of a motivator

It only matters what you do inside the ring. Boxing is a sport of skill, stamina and stategy. Just because we call them fighters it does not mean they have to be double hard *******s out the ring.

You ever think maybe that he's not scared of him? If you think about it logically, it doesn't make sense to duck a guy for no reason, and be scared of a fighter that most people believe you would beat. I might be crazy for saying this, but I think it's possible that all the animosity that exists between Mayweather/Haymon/GBP and Arum might have something to do with the fight not coming off.

Mosley and Canelo were two other fighters that he was supposedly scared shitless of. Neither one of those guys were with Top Rank and the fights got made with no problem. Cotto is another guy that Mayweather was supposedly deathly afraid of, and that fight was made without an issue right after Cotto became a free agent.

Name one opponent that PBF faced that was a legitimate threat to beat him... I gave Chico a shot many years ago. But seriously, an equal top tier opponent who had any shot at winning ! And Guerrero, Canelo and old Cotto do not count...SRL fought Hearns, Duran SRL, Hagler/Hearns SRL/ Benitez, Arguello/Pryor... The common theme here is that each of these fights had a `pick-em` quality to them Great fighters taking risk. Who has PBF beat, that was TOP tier,in their prime equal challenger ?

Pac is a true warrior, having been the underdog throughout his career & come through, he was being fed to De La Hoya at 147 when Floyd refused the rematch with DLH so they got Pac to move up 2 divisions despite just making his debut at 135, it takes some ****ing balls to move up that many divisions & he does it to take on the legendary De La Hoya & look what he does to him.

The absolute truth is that PBF would never have signed to fight the likes of Hearns, Duran and SRL, fact... The O and $ is what matters to him... The aforementioned greats wanted the $ Too ! But, what really mattered to them was the bragging rights that came with calling out and beating the best ! Well past their primes, Cotto, Mosely,Oscar and a still green Canelo (at catchweight) do not count as great victories ...

There's a good possibility that Mayweather would have been undefeated up to the first Leonard fight.

Logic does not apply in Floyd's world. It's called 'irrational fear'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irrationality -> "It is more specifically described as an action or opinion given through inadequate use of reason, emotional distress, or cognitive deficiency."

Floyd is underestimating himself (or overestimating Pac) and for some weird reason thinks he has little chance of winning. Most experts disagree with him, therefore I find his fear of Pac highly irrational. I think cognitive deficiency may well apply to Floyd and his close family/handlers.
