LOL, so Pac gets laid out by a 40 year old, I mean put to sleep, literally, got knocked down by a telegraphed slow ass right which took like a minute until it landed and Pac still could not get out of its way.............forget about the KO, that shot has Roach/Arum and CO very worried about how much Pac has left.

Canelo would easily deal with Marquez.........that would not even be a fight.

Pac cannot box for ****, he overwhelms his opponents........he aint overwhelming Canelo, as a matter of fact, Pac is tailermade for Canelo, a small guy coming right at him who gets mad when hit and comes right back with the same and no plan B....

    Canelo by KO.

It's painfully difficult to ignore the dick riding here but I guess I'd share while I still give Pac 20% chance of beating Canelo at the full 154.
Canelo can't handle speed. Pac's handspeed is comparable to that of FMJ's and Canelo looked slow and shocked when he faced FMJ, almost robotic to a point.
Then add the fact that Pac has some serious pop behind his punches, if FMJ was able to keep Canelo back the entire fight, how can you not say Pac will not?
I'm pretty sure Pac can and will overwhelm Canelo with punches from all angles, and being out of range by the time Canelo reacts, but if Canelo trains right, he will exploit those same openings that JMM has been exploiting for the longest time.
Canelo's real chance is to outmuscle Pac, not outbox him. Pac's boxing ability is seriously underrated in these boards.

Sure he doesn't have the ring IQ of FMJ or the brilliance of JMM in putting combos, but what he has he has in the topmost calibre and you'd be kidding yourself if you think Pac's style is easy to neutralize.
Look at what happened to Bradley. That's what happens when you pair up a B fighter against somebody like Pac. Sure he made Pac miss a lot with his ducking low, but he wasn't no JMM who can roll with the punches AND counter Pac right there and then.
Only people who can seriously keep Pac honest with his speed and angles are those whose style are like Morales' and JMM's.

Nothing special with Canelo, he is slow, does not have overwhelming power, and does not have extraordinary skill. I will give Pac, at his best, a good chance to beat him.

    idiot.

sww is pedjr 5th division. he fought dela hoya from his 4th. that is 1 weight, nothing extraordinary.

atg's do 2 weightclasses jump easy. pedjr came up short in the atg department, what else is new.

pac fought dela hoya from 1 fight at his 5th to his 7th division.

    that's 3 weight classes in 2 fights.

did you expect for pac to jump 3 weightclasses after 1 fight on his previous? id assume it has nver been done in the history. but if there is someone who can, that would be pac.

well, honestly, pac would prolly decision dela hoya if commisision would allow it.:rofl:D

and umm, zombie dela hoya averaged 60+ punches first 5 rounds.

zombier than zombie 152 drainelo averaged 40+. dont talk about zombies, when your hero likes on beating on deader than dead zombies.:good:hi::rofl

    I'll ask this question again:

If Pacquiao can fight Margarito at 165 without losing a single round...

...why is it unreasonable to say he can take at least 7 rounds from Alvarez at 170?

Because Canelo is much much better and faster than Margo who only dives head first to each of Pac's punches.

Seriously though, Canelo and Margarito's strengths are vastly different from each other.
It's much better to compare Margo and Rios against each other.
And we all know how those went even though Rios was roughly 10lbs heavier than Pac.

Canelo is waaaaaaay overrated. He's bigger than Pac and has decent hand speed for somebody his size. THATS IT.
His power is the most over rated thing I've seen. Who has he knocked out? He hit Angulo with the kitchen sink but couldn't stop him or put him down, of course nobody stops Mosley but he couldn't stop a much smaller 40 year old Mosley, took him forever to stop Lopez. Couldn't stop Trout after making him do a chicken dance.

Old Pac annihilates him no matter what weight. I'd still pick today's Pac over him. (60-40). His stamina isn't that great, his power isn't overwhelming (which his power is the only way he beats Pac by knocking him out IMO).

They seriously do think he is an invincible superhero. Their posts have always reminded me of that Inside North Korea documentary. Don't forget most of these ******s have picked Pacman to "Hatton" every opponent since Hatton.
