    Yes, he should've fought Provodnikov. JMM has tested himself throughout his career so fans are simply giving him a pass here.

    Like he said - doesnt want to be a stepping stone for Ruslan. He just wants to rematch Bradley before retirement, not get pounded into early dementia by Ruslan. Cant say I blame him. The only reason he isnt retired, is because Arum managed to entice him with possibility of Bradley rematch.

    Because he is aware that Provo would likely retire him, or at least that the risk is too big. He will likely fight Pacquiao/Bradley winner, so he doesn't want to have a "hard" fight in the meantime. Not in a spirit of the sport surely, but obviously a safer path for him considering that he wants that belt at 147 so much.

    he cant carry a main event. fighting provo or alvarado, it is the same pay, half prolly of what he can get with bradley an dway less against pac.

    so, less pay = easier fight.

    He wants to stay alive until the Pac-Bradley winner is determined. If Bradley wins, he'll fight Bradley in a rematch. If Pac wins, he'll find another fight.

    Because he has nothing to prove at this point of his career. He is old man and has been through tough fights. It is nothard to understand he is looking easier fights atthis points which quarantees him good money And maybe leading him for last big money fights..
