    WRONG! garcia needs to beat pacquaio to be the lineal champion for real

    I think Pac gave up the belt some months after he beat Hatton because he said he was not going to fight there again.

    Lineal titles go away when u leave the weight class for good. He fought there one time bro, won and bounced.

    Pac hasn't fought at Lightwelter for ages. he certainly isn't the Champ.

    neither is Garcia because he's lost his last two.

    Just deal with Lucas getting whooped, my goodness some people hold on to stuff forever. Herrera fight was alot closer then Matthysse, THATS A FACT!! :hi:

    if i had my way, herrera would be lineal champ rite now

    and pacquaio is lineal at welter because floyd refuses to contest the lineal title by fighting him and pacquaio already beat bradley who beat marquez

    schaeffers claim pre-fight that he was top 5p4p was just as ridiculous.

    what garcia needs is to get 3 of the 4 belts to establish a new lineage.

    He beat the clear and consensus number 2 in the division (who had just come off a KO against the other beltholder), which is sufficient to create a new lineage. The 3 of 4 belts thing is an absurd requirement, particularly when one of the sanctioning bodies now refuses to recognize unifications.

    Garcia already was the clear lineal champ. He won the ring belt against Khan and beat Matthysse which was a fight between number 1 and 2
