    Floyd picked because:
    1) he beat up his homie Broner
    2) as such, and given his straight ahead slow footed style he is a perfect low -risk fight for Colonel Sanders.

    Floyd = dare not to be great, but delusional enough to be believe otherwise.

    I think you may be giving Floyd a little too much credit on this one!!!

    There's a reason they attract eachother!!!

    I think Maidana knows he is fighting Floyd who is superior to broner. He isn't blind.

    @Robert80

    I'm sure Maidana knows what he's up against, but I do question his response when asked why he thought Mayweather chose him. It does indicate that he (Maidana) does at least think one of the reasons is, he beat Mayweather's friend (Broner).

    I knew the moment after Maidana beat Broner there would be many fans who would jump on the Maidana bandwagon, and annoint him the Mayweather cryptonite, due to Broner and Mayweather's PERCIEVED similarities, stylistically. This fight is being sold to the casuals more than the hardcore.

    Anyone thinking Flayd gives a **** about Broner is crazy, i think Floyd hopes Broner makes good run and with his attention seeking with moronic behavior makes good for selling PPV and then Floyd will school him and take the money:yep

    @FlipMNE

    I'd say at the very least, he does think Broner is sellable product, which is probably why he's on his next PPV card, now why team Mayweather put him up against a guy who is currently in jail, is another question.

    If you aren't a Maidana fan, then you probably aren't a real fight fan.

    I’m not a real fight fan because I told the truth? Never said I didn't like him. He isn't a top 10 Welter...ok maybe he is 10th.
