    Agreed.

People keep going on about how their first meeting sold under 2000 tickets but forget to add it was watched by nearly 3 million viewers on Channel 5.

Since then both fighters have become much bigger names, Chisora fought Klitschko and Helenius and gained massive notoriety with his brawl with Haye in Munich plus their boxing fight itself and Fury has had more exposure on Channel 5 and become one of the most talked about boxers in boxing.

It's true neither have been big ticket sellers up to now but i think there's enough interest out there for it to sell around 15,000.

    Anyway we will see.

channel 5 numbers are largely irrelevant - degale gets over a mill but he can't sell 2k seats in a leisure centre.

Think frochs first world title fight had 4m viewers, his last fight on a sky sports channel had something like 350k viewers and he was far more famous/box office with a tenth of the viewers he had on itv

As for selling 15k tickets, they're only selling half the arena at the moment and barely selling that, this fight is a massive afterthought to froch groves and with the prices involved it'll sell ****

What was the attendance when they both fought a few weeks ago?

    Any idea of the undercard?

Delboy was grossly overweight and out of shape in the first fight. so there is enough of a question mark there to warrant a rematch imo. Not sure if it will sell out, but I reckon it will sell well enough.

Need to be a stacked card to sell the tickets at these prices but looking at the current stable - all the horses bolted long ago and left behind the exciting Bradley Skeete and Frankie Gavin.

Think the promoter must have thought that Fury would generate the same sales as David Haye v Chisora but it will not happen.

Call a press conference asap, change the fight to the York Hall, charge York Hall prices and give the tickets to Buglioni to sell.

Both fighters would be better asking their promoter to get this fight on the undercard of Groves v Froch to raise their profiles and bringing big Wlad across to watch.

For 99% of the population, fights and fighters on Boxnation are out of sight out of mind losing profile

This a thousand times, ask a hundred people on the street who Dereck chisora is and I'd bet more people would think he's a rapper than a boxer - boxnation is a **** channel to fight on if you are a uk fighter really

I'm coming down from Scotland for this as it's convenient for a day trip getting to Manchester and back unlike London. Was stupid enough to buy an extra pair to tout as I had a rush of blood with the sudden announcement of ticket sales, another amateurish touch from ******. Won't get my money back that's for sure.

Feel sorry for Fury who could have sold out the venue in an instant with Price had the latter not crapped himself.

No, Fury pulled out of a fight with Price due to being "too fat".

This is the type of fight that would likely get very good numbers on Channel Five. I do have my doubts that they'll sell out the arena at the current ticket prices.
