Khan: Floyd called me and said the fight will happen eventually.

    "My friend called me and asked if I wanted to talk to Floyd and I said 'put him on the phone' and Floyd said 'how are you doing champ?'"

    I said 'I'm alright, but... why didn't you take the fight? What was the issue?'

    And he said 'listen champ, you're a great fighter, I respect you. The fight will happen, you know. I have a few more fights left in my career and it will happen between me and you - just not yet"

    Golden Boy got back to me and said 'you can fight May 3' on the Floyd card as chief support'. I thought it was a good idea because I'd be in his face plus Maidana is a guy I have already beaten so I might steal a little of the attention from him!

    Apparently this fight will happen eventually.

    We all know if Khan wins his next fight he will fight Floyd next, we just have to hope whoever it is KO's Khan

    khan needs to understand he needs a couple of solid wins.. can't sit on his ass and expect to get the mayweather fight

    He will though thats the problem, as long as his next fight is against a top 20 WW he will get the fight

    That's one big reason why Schaefer doesn't want a Khan-Broner fight. Instead, we will get Khan-Collazo.

    I think you're right, but Khan does have a weak chin. And we all know Mayweather ain't fighting Broner if he won because they're supposedly friends.

    He signed the fight in advance, and he was champ before he loss to Baldomir.

    Wouldn't be surprised if someone had called him on a wind up pretending to be floyd, we all know khans not the sharpest tool in the shed.
