what i'm suggesting is every division should always have a Lineal Champion and the guidelines are there to seek that champion out.

At no time has Pacquiao been the #1 welter or the #1 challenger @ 147. It hasn't happened.

    Really?

Exactly what has Pacquiao done @ 147 to be considered for a higher ranking @ the weight over Mayweather?

    We're listening...

WTF does being "fighter of the decade" or having 8 "titles" in 8 divisions have to do with Pacquiao's body of work @ 147lbs?

Would you care to explain, Genius?

Hey Genius, Pacquiao's [or any other fighter's] rank @ a given weight is based soley on their body of work @ that weight. Period, end of.

    1 + 1 = 2

    Epic FAIL.

At no time in Pacquiao's career has he ever been ranked the #1 147lb'er in the world. THIS IS AN INDISPUTABLE FACT. The ONLY time where it would have been fair to rank Pacquiao ahead of Mayweather @ 147lbs would have been in the 2008-2009 time frame - when Floyd was RETIRED.

    Get a clue, Genius...

    WRONG again, Genius.

Mayweather retired in 2008 as the LINEAL champ @ 147lbs. Upon his return, seeing as his former title was still vacant, Mayweather should have been rightfully ranked #1 or @ worst #2. Again, the ONLY time it would be fair to rank Pacquiao ahead of Mayweather @ 147lbs is when Floyd was RETIRED.

    Get a clue, Genius...
