No. Duran was thought to be beyond shot at that point, hadn't beaten a decent opponent in years, but went out and beat a giant MW title holder coming off of a huge win in a war. Where as Floyd is still the best in the game right now, and while I'd maybe favour Golovkin due to his physical advantages, Floyd winning wouldn't surprise me all that much. GGG looks to be the best right now but he isn't near as proven as Barkley was.

Duran and Barkely beat each other unmerciful. Without the knock down Duran probably would of lost. Floyd isn't going into any war with GG. He gets busted up by his jab and stopped late. Beating GG is asking to much out of Mayweather.
