he didnt, he took just under 9 AND why do you think he chose baldi over marg ? use your brain now.. i know its tough but think about it for a couple milliseconds and you should come to the obvious conclusion.

one came with real belts from a fighter coming in with a 9 year unbeaten steak and the lineal title while they other came with a little less money, NO title, NO meaning to the fight AND the best part of all, he would have to give arum the jew snake options for the next couple years.

sounds like a great business and career decision was made

Mayweather apparently made it a point in the contract to get paid $8,000,001 for the Baldomir fight

Morales avoided him, then when he was old wanted JMM< but he felt whats the point giving him a paycheck when he didnt fight me earlier, but he did avoid Khan earlier on around 2010

Cotto avoided Williams, so did most people

Duran refused to duck anybody in his career, but he still managed to avoid unifying the division when Rodolfo Gonzalez was champion and the latter's manager was trying to set the fight up. He still managed to walk away from a career high purse against Antonio Cervantes a couple of years later.
