What do you consider Danny Green's best win?

Just know that in the only fight that mattered to the Aussie public Green looked and fought like a amateur against Mundine , looked one dimentional and clueless .

 

The Green vs Roy Jones Jnr fight had a huge build-up with the Aussie public. Made millions and the upset result got world wide attention, including across Australia. The rest of the world didn't care a darn about the Mundine vs Green result.

 

Green vs RJJ wasn't a huge build up compared to the yrs of build up for Green v Mundine. RJJ fight doesn't even compare. RJJ fight would be his best upset but not fight. IMO the Beyer 1 fight was his best fight ever but he paid for being complacent in their 2nd fight, he thought because he dominated Beyer so much in the first fight that the 2nd one would be a walk in the park, however i dont blame Green to much for that, i blame Fenech.

He was beat by Beyer prior to the fight against Green and lets face it, Beyer isn't that sht hot. Sure he did a number on Green the 2nd time round but Green and Fenech pretty much gave it to him, boxer vs brawler, boxer always wins and thats what Beyers people had in mind when they formulated the plan to defeat Green in the rematch and couldn't have worked any better.

WOW, Brua actually correcting someone on a mistake about Green which makes Green actually look worse than the claim he was dressed up as Rambo lol.. Travis Bickle is the racist character in Taxi Driver, but you forgot to mention that lol .. just a minor detail bra.

Tarver fight is my favorite. Suprized me against BJ because i didnt think Green knew how to box, either he did or BJ was a ****** lol id like to think the second of the two considering Green was sitting on the ropes baiting him and he still couldn't fck Green up.

Someone said Wlod fight but imo he showed more grit and determination in the Tarver one, Wlod was there for the picking after coming out of rehab for suicide and anti depressants, he got brutally KO'd , got complacent and got caught, all he had to do was stay away from him and he had all but won. Green is a boring boxer but one hell of an exciting fighter when he wants to be. Watching him against BJ Flores was very boring, watching him against Beyer one was exciting, Tarver was exciting, Wlod was not exciting, up until he got fed a sleeping tablet by Wlod that is lol.

 

Yeah i know he got a gift decision, i was waiting to see if anyone would pull me up on it, good to see your still the sharpest tool on the funny bus lol

Now, hows about Mikkel Kessler? still rate him?

 

I don't rate Kessler very high, in saying that, he stopped Beyer & Lucas but couldn't stop Mundine. So if we rate Kessler next to Lucas, well Lucas isn't very high anymore is he. Would have been good to see Green fight Kessler.

 

It might have lasted for only a couple of minutes, but Green vs Roy Jones Jnr was one of the biggest fights in Australian boxing history.

 

Ya reckon , Jones had been a long way over the hill when greeny got him . As the old saying goes - he was shot.

 

Green vs Roy Jones Jnr is recognized as one of the biggest fights in Aussie boxing history. Multi-million dollar fight. Huge build-up. Huge interest and not just here, but overseas as well.

It didn't last long on the night and Jones was probably shot. But still one of the biggest fights in Aussie boxing history.

 

Could of lead to Bhop fight for green, until jones jnr tried to save some face by claming wraps were loaded

 

He didnt duck Green, Kessler out boxed Mundine, so just imagine what he would have done to Green. :hey

Fenech won the purse bid in 2004, the fight was going to be for the WBC Interim super middleweight title fight. Green had a tune up fight and then went on to fight Beyer for a 2nd time in March 2005.

Kessler went on to fight Siaca for the WBA belt in November 2004. Now what would you do if you were kessler. Fight Green for a Interim belt (December 2004) or fight Siaca for the world title (November 2004)?

RJJ Green was NO where near as big as Green vs Mundine, Green v Mundine stopped a nation. Fights broke out Nation wide after that bout because all the Danny Green fans ran out of tissues and spat the dummy lol And im almost CERTAIN that the government didn't need to chip in funds to get Green v Mundine going, enough said now ladys who say RJJ v Green was the biggest in AUS?

Now Green fans should be thankful Kessler decided to fight Siaca for the world title because had he not done so and faced Green then Green wouldnt have got his shot at Beyer in March of 2005 as Kessler would have destroyed him and taken his spot. Not to mention by Kessler winning the WBA belt, enabled him to get a fight with Mundine, as a result it gave Mundine his second defeat, so you Green fans should really be sending Kessler thank you letters aye lol
