What happens next? Does he still get a big Vegas ticket against Chavez jr? How about Groves - would he get the Vegas fight with Chavez instead!? Maybe GGG is going to enter the picture as well. I wonder if Froch is going to a) take an early retirement (his ego would take a huge hit if Groves retires him) b) carry on as planned (fight Chavez and retire, if that is indeed the plan) c) late attempt at rebuilding his career (not that one fight would 'destroy' him, but if Groves takes the Chavez fight instead then Froch is left stranded)
I think he'll retire in the post-fight interview and make a point of how he fought his mandatory challenger and Joe Calzaghe didn't when he was.
He'd also squeal about being nearly 37 and Groves having youth on his side or something and ask for credit for taking the fights
I don't like the guy but I can't see him retiring on a loss against Groves,I think he'd go down the WBC route or even the WBO as Abraham is the champ who he easily out pointed back in 2010 & he's never held that belt!
Your hate for Froch is sad mate If he does lose to groves he should quit. Nothing else to prove and has been a great champ
If he loses it sets up a big money triology Secretly I reckon Eddie has his fingers crossed on this one
After the controversy of the first fight i wouldn't be shocked by another controversy forcing a "part 3".
? He's making £13,000,000 for this Groves fight, despite never helping sell a fight with media work and having no charisma.
Agreed. To my mind Groves was going to win the first, if he wins the second it's game over and the Polish man can go and get his nose sorted out and enjoy hanging out the back of his missus.
