It's not even an opinion, it's fact.

I think he is the second best US heavyweight at this moment. I'm not sure if he can deal with the pressure and power from Arreola. He is certainly better than Wilder.

Edit: Forgot about Jennings too. He is also better than Wilder, but I rate him under the Tiger though.

No I think Wilder would KO him in one round. Arreola would beat him as well. I think Jennings beats him too. I always knew Solis was trash.

He is, he would outbox Jennings, knock out Wilder and outbox Arreola.

Which, ironically enough, would leave you as a straight man married with children.

Would still favor Jennings and probably arreola over Thompson. Thompson is relatively easy to hit if you let your hands go and he throws mostly arm punches. That being said he has a very active punch output and would not be a pushover for anyone currently

solis is disgraceful to lose this fight. the heavyweight division is terrible when a guy like thompson is on the verge of a 3rd heavyweight title fight

Thompson's resume is better than any other American heavyweight. That being said I still would not favor him against Jennings, who hasn't beaten the same level of competition but seems to pass the eye test. Look forward to Jennings getting some bigger fights, like when he beats perez in the near future

I'm still convinced he'd have handed a beating to Pulev if TT had a camp beforehand like a pro and didn't have to walk to the ring directly from his couch. rematch!

Thompson definitely has by far the best resume of any US heavyweight that's for sure and even past prime, overweight and in his 40's would be a handful if not the favourite over any other US heavy.
