Naz a counter puncher. Manny hates those guys. their his weak spot. which is why a fighter like Marquez can be considered at the top of the sport when in actual fact, without getting to fight Manny for the 100th time, he'd have to fight all the fresh good fighters around. and we know he loses pretty much most of the time when he does that.

Naz smokes him at Feather. not a doubt in my mind.

Naz gets so underrated on here it's actually criminal.

Vs the Featheweight Fab Four, Hamed would probably have done better vs Pac and Morales than vs Mab and JMM!:deal

Saying he was slick and powerful has **** all to do with Pacquiao having better technique, which he always did, heck, even before Roach.

...and how is saying their power was comparable at the lower weights silly? :? Pac was always a puncher.

you really think that Pac just going hell for leather with his straight left hand, showed "technique"? really?? are you watching the same fighter as me IB?

Pac wasn't about timing. Pac wasn't about setting up counters. he wasn't about keeping shape and smarts. he was all about fire and will whilst being wide open and ragged.

you'd have to be pretty damn stupid not to catch Pac firing on you with a counter shot. and no, Barrera had lost his fire when he did fight him. that was Marco in his second faze. all other fighters were able to catch Manny pretty damn good and with regularity also.

give them the one punch power of Naz, and it's something that Manny has experienced before... getting knocked out. hell, "skinny" nearly ended him with a jab on the counter. Naz blows smoke all over him. this is not the later version of Pac we're talking about here.

IB, come off it. Naz could knock you out with one shot in either hand. Manny had to hit with bursts of shots over a duration of rounds. they're not comparable in the power department at all. not even damn close to being so.
you only need watch their fights at the weight to see who is the much bigger puncher of the two.

2001 was Naz at his worst. 1997-1999 Naz is a live underdog. I believe Naz had better power, ever MAB said so.

Pacman would lose this by discouragement and intimidation after seeing The Great Prince dance his way into the ring. Hamed all day.

And his footwork was a marvel, and that alone would have caused Hamed fits.
Hamed's jaw wasn't exactly granite either, getting dropped by regional fighters, while the feather version of Pac , at a more comfortable weight, seemed to take punches much better than the flyweight one.

Hamed before he left the Ingles & got the Oscar Suarez/Manny Steward tag team to train him was an absoloute beast.
Awkward, fast, sick lateral movement, punched in combinations & sickening power.

Its a real shame he left the Ingles & Suarez/Manny tried to turn him into an orthodox boxer, had he stayed with the Ingles & mainatained his hunger I've no doubt he would have wiped the floor with MAB.
