Messy exchanges, generally ending in a clinch. Lots of on-the-fly stance switching by Ortega, tossing light jabs with either hand. Pedroza swats in short window-wiper motions with bursts of hooks trying to catch Ortega's chin in their midst by stepping toward him and extending his arms slightly.

The commentators for Noche De Campeones, Carlos Otero & Jorge Amaya, both have it level, one round apiece.

 

Round 3

Ortega is falling into clinches every few seconds, his overhands washing up harmlessly on the shoulders and biceps of Pedroza. Hacking counters across the face by Pedroza as Ortega's momentum repeatedly brings him crashing inside and needing to clinch so as to not topple both men into the canvas.

Round 4

Ortega is spraying jabs and right hands, some of them no-look as he bows his entire head anticipating the clinch as he falls in. Pedroza is ducking and turning him with increasing efficacy and strapping him with counters.

Yeah, domestic fare can be entertaining provided the matchmaking is roughly even.

 

Otero gave Ortega the 4th.

Amaya gave it even 10-10.

The graphics in rounds 1-4 said "__ of 10"...now it's "5 of 8"...

 

Uh-oh, the stream hit a snag. Everybody try refreshing.

 

Well, having missed the entire 5th I'm giving up on scoring Ortega vs. Pedroza II. (and don't really care about Estrada vs. Diaz any more than it)

Hopefully the stream is back up in working order by the main event.

 

Pedroza has a tiny bit of yellow striping down his trunks, and more hair. (though not much) :good

He is also less haphazard with his offense. (though not by much)
