Anselmo Moreno vs. Javier Nicolas Chacon RBR

Chacon back to getting utterly dominated. He started off well landing some rights early but they were rolled or smothered by Moreno on the inside. Moreno's body attack is showing effect twice in round left hands to the body froze Chacon and had him either stand straight up or move back. Moreno round.

Moreno is sticking right jabs, stepping out, leaning to his left and holding the left glove up by his chin, picking off Chacon's jabs and countering with right hooks on the body or into the forearms, using the latter to help turn Chacon and pivot himself away. Chacon is putting up a very high guard, elbows higher than his nipples, back hunched, firing hard jabs but not getting close with them.

Round 7

Moreno is sticking his right jab into Chacon's face and hooking the waistband, all from outside, making perfectly optimized use of his reach. Moreno is plunking high straight lefts between the eyes of Chacon, all while sidestepping and keeping his balance intact and never allowing Chacon within range to find him with any of his swatting combos.

Another surge from Chacon but not enough, for every single right he lands he eats a right hook and left to the body that physically stun him now whereas his right doesn't have that effect and is just a single shot. Moreno isn't controlling distance now but his upper body movement is on point now and he is clearly controlling the round.

Round 8

Moreno is using right stiff-arms to knock Chacon backward and not having to tax his feet as much, moving only when Chacon bypasses the forearm and jab lines of defense and gets too close. Chacon is curling in right uppercuts to the body and looking to skewer Moreno with a straight right on the Adam's apple but Moreno is able to circle outside and bullwhip Chacon with left hands from outside. Light right jabs by Moreno leaning in, setting up left uppercuts at tight quarters before drawing Chacon across the ring, making him lunge and miss with chops and body shots. Moreno is tapping Chacon on the side of the head with the right hook jumping in and out.

Another great effort from Chacon who is cutting off the ring and pressing hard, he is still occasionally landing a well timed right or a lead right on Moreno. Unfortunately again just single shots and Moreno this round started to unload multiple right hooks to the body followed by lefts, and right hooks to the head in combination and a nice left to finish the round.

Moreno is rowing out the right jab, churning the air while circling to his left. Moreno spanks Chacon with the right hook and fakes a dive in to grab, pulling out halfway down and moving in the other direction. Chacon seeks a jab up top, headhunting, Moreno leaning and slipping with light counters peppered in. Moreno sits momentarily on the middle rope before launching himself away just as Chacon arrives. Lunging wide right by Chacon missing.

Chacon still bringing pressure but he is just swinging for the fences now and getting picked apart for it. the right hook to the body and head on him coming in is freezing him and the straight left to the body up or now as a uppercut on him charging in are leaving him stunned and allowing Moreno to circle out.

Chacon is pressing in, guard high, scything down with his left to bcak Moreno up. Chacon lands a clapping right and left hook on the cheeks as Moreno is pulling straight back with both arms low, Chacon's best sequence all night. Low blow from Moreno, Chacon needing a moment. Point taken. Moreno is shoving out with his forearm as Chacon presses in. Wild right by Chacon, ducked. Moreno bumps Chacon away with his chest and right arm, then leans back and counters with jabs and hooks as Chacon tries for left hooks and lunging right hands aiming for Moreno's head. Chacon manages to get his left forearm behind Moreno's neck and pushes down on it.
