Chris Eubank on tactical prowess, Mark Breland, Joe Calzaghe and his son

Collins wasn't the best fighter at the weight at the time, nowhere close to it but he was good enough to beat Eubank.

 

Can't take that away from him, but would it have been the same story had he fought the Benn & Eubank of a few years earlier? I don't think so..

Boxing's all about timing though.

 

100% Collins was a decent fighter but no way does he beat those guys in their prime

 

Collins got inside Eubank's head with all of his talk of hypnotism. He said at the the time that peoples lives were at stake, and emloying a hypnotist could get someone killed. Still dont know whether Collins was just winding him up, but it certainly unsettled Eubank

 

I'm sure he said it was all just a wind up.

I found out recently that apparently Ken Norton used hypnosis the night he beat Ali, never knew that.

 

one of the saddest sights in boxing I can remember seeing is Kenny Nortons section in Champions Forever where he very painfully says how he never took boxing seriously, and how he wished he'd taken it seriously
