That is interesting, we would look at him totally different had he made all of that money but had the image of a good guy and didn't flaunt....people would diss him for that.....Oscar tried to play the roll of the good guy and made hella money.... but Oscar was far less flamboyant than Floyd. And people used Oscars good guy **** against him.

To this day I can't think of one significant punch Tito landed on Oscar in the fight....whenever highlights of that fight are shown the only late post running Oscar highlights are always grazing punches..

 

Why would somebody be jealous of him? I congratulate him for earning what he has and for developing his brand over the years. I remember when he was with Arum and struggling to get recognised as an attraction, he's come a long way and he's inspiring in that regard.
I imagine people who dislike Floyd are the same as me, as boxing fans we don't like that he hasn't challenged himself and fought the best competition available. That might be good for him personally but I care more about the sport than what Floyd is eating for dinner.
I think he's a very good fighter but we don't know exactly how good. He's looked exceptional (against Canelo and in destroying B grade opposition i.e. Gatti) but he's also looked very ordinary against ageing stars in Cotto and DLH, journeymen like Augustus, and he arguably took an L against Castillo. He's certainly not the unbeatable fighter he and his fans like to make him out to be, he is very lucky to still have his zero.
You might call that being a hater, I call it being a realist.

Would like to have his money, sure, but honestly wouldn't wanna be him.

 

Why be jealous? Most athletes are richer and more successful than me, I'd be mad if I were jealous of em all.

I hate Floyd as he ducked out of the biggest fight if our generation embarrassed the sport by doing so and ruined his own boxing legacy.

 

I don't like him for many reasons, but I still know he is a great fighter. Just because he is a great fighter doesn't mean I have to like him though.

 

All i want is peace of mind. Floyd doesn't seem to have that at all. He's so confused and unsatisfied that i expect him to blow everything in the next 5-10 years..

Friend, I must ask you who isn't biased in the general sports community. All sports journalists, commentators, etc are biased to a noticeable degree.

 

Like when mayweather was beating Mosley up , he says it's boring and the power punches are not hard at all??
