After his last fight at 135 against Philip N'dou, who should Mayweather have fought up until now? People say he ducked
    This content is protected
that would give him a challenge, so who should he have fought and when?

I would like to see what challenges he avoided, and what those results would have been to the people who believe that.. You may also eliminate the 18month layoff/retirement...

    Go

Highest paid Athlete in the world.

P4P #1 Boxer in the world

Undiputed, Undefeated Super Welterweight of the World

Sounds to me that his career has gone exactly as planned.

Not many don't rate him as an ATG. He just cracks the top 50. He will end up between 40 and 50 when he retires. That's being kind TBH

Merchant was horrible. He had one or two good lines during a broadcast, but 95% of them being cringe-worthy stinkers. And, as pointed out, one of the most biased commentators ever.

The truth is. He's always taken the best fight available except Pac. But neither one of them are on eachothers resume.

He's beaten a lot of people. He's had to. He wouldn't sell otherwise. Everyone he's fought was either a champion or a mandatory. If anyone else had his resume it would be lauded.

    But I think

    A) because the talent difference between him and other fighters is so big.

    AND

    B) He takes apart fighters that are supposed to give him a hard time.

It makes it look like he's not taking good competition.

He's fighting everyone when they are their most dangerous. (off the biggest win of their career )

He hasn't been the cashcow his whole career, and there were previous cashcows who took on far worse competition.

    He's been the $$ Man since 2007.

He's beaten. DLH, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, Canelo, and soon to be Maidana.

All either champions, mandatory, or #1 in their divisions. Most of whom gave everyone else problems prior to facing him. He makes easy work of tough competition and it's considered a cherry pick.

His resume isn't one of a cherrypicker. It just isn't.

Easily an ATG. And his resume will get more impressive with more time. He has a lot of HOF's on his resume. More than people realize.

If the list is too long, are you suggesting he should have fought 3 or more times in a year since 2003? There were that many people he avoided?:admin

Larry Merchant is a Vodka breathed no talented hack. The only time Larry looks good is when he is contradicting that dumb fuk, George Foreman.
