ducky adjusted after the second round he never came at Shane that way again

duckweather wanted to give a toe 2 toe battle but found out he couldn't trade with Shane so went back to his coward style

    thats just ducky

Well Maidana obiously is the stronger guy comming into the fight. But that will mean little to nothing when they acually fight.
Maidana needs to be patient, work behind the jab and just try to bang away as much as possible.

Don't even think Maidana is stronger than Floyd

He punches harder but that doesn't have any bearing on his physical strength.

How is he obviously stronger coming into the fight?

Mayweather has made home at 147-154lbs for YEARS, has an extremely athletic build for the weightclass, whereas Maidana is fresh from 140lbs and looks aesthetically mediocre for a full time pro boxer.

I am willing to bet Floyd is physically stronger than Maidana.

Just because Floyd isn't aggressive it doesn't mean he lacks physical strength. Floyd is strong, stronger than Broner. Broner has some serious chicken legs, Floyd will have a stronger core strength. Floyd isn't aggressive in close but he can negate so effectively in close because he is so strong. His shoulder roll defence is incorporated with blocking, parrying, pushing, holding and even some dirty tricks. To do that so effectively requires a lot of strength.

I'm a huge fan of Floyd but it's pretty clear he has no power at 147 (let alone 154).
I'm not taking credit away from him, in fact I am giving him extra.
The fact that he was able to keep guys like Canelo Alvarez off him with no power shows how amazingly talented and skillful he is.
Remember, Floyd is not a true 147 pounder.
    He's a bloated 130 pounder at best.
Skills pay the bills, not just power.

Agree with most. But I wouldnt say no power. That would be like Paulie Status.

I think his power at 47 is like a 7/10.

He cut Guerrero. Kept Canelo honest. Mosley honest. Almost KO'D Cotto in the 12th round of their fight @154.

So I can't say he doesn't have any power.
    Just not elite power .

Fan seem to forget that floyd like Pernell after injuring their hand changed their styles.
Floyd once a boxer puncher turned complete boxer after hurting his hand. Floyd is fighter who think longevity he will risk injuring his by forcing a KO. Floyd would rather wear his opponent down then submit them with pouches at the end. And for any of that to happen you must be extremely strong physically.

Nothing like underestimating the best fighter he'll ever face.

Yet another reason to avoid this farce.

Shut up, Maidana. You'll look lost that night. Exactly like with Alexander and Khan.

    Who cares.

If Floyd tangles with Maidana and finds out he cant out strength Maidana he will chagne his game plan.

Canelo is much much stronger than Floyd, and a better boxer than Maidana, And floyd didn't let him use that asset against him
