Where would the 300 million come from?

Oscar vs Floyd did 2.5 million buys and neither took over 50 million.

Canelo vs Floyd did over 2 million buys and again less than 100 million.

No PPV money was not an offer that was serious. It would be like Pac calling Floyd and offering him a flat purse of $40 million and. Manny telling Floyd don't even worry about the PPV money because that would be all his. Lol.......everyone knew this communication took place and how it went down......so to call this an offer or a chance that both men could negotiate is a stretch!

That's true. Floyd has been no less rigid in negotiating. We can witness that when he says stuff like all roads lead through him and how he stubbornly refuses to acknowledge Manny's drawing power or anything that he's done. I imagine Floyd surrounded by kissasses and yesmen like Ellerbe that just tell him he's right and feed his already bloated ego. Ha!

Regardless of what you think of Pac, he IS a money draw and that is the biggest fight in boxing.

If you were Pac...would you accept 40 mil flat AND have to give in to all of Floyds demands? Only an idiot would do that. That would be damn near an 80-20 split.

He owes Floyd money because Floyd said so? That's your proof, haha.

Floyd ultimately chose not to fight those guys, that's a duck. You are just rationalizing the duck.

He's had a great career. We can sit back and be a Sunday morning Quarterback but what good would that do? Floyd is like a lot of other boxers who are great......overly criticized for their choice of opponents and looked at through an electron microscope. Could he have chosen better opposition to beef up his resume? Absolutely! But Floyd is a cerebral boxer and he thinks everything through when it comes to this sport. The risk/reward factor is a big piece of Floyd's path within the sweet science. To maintain his climb to the top he had to make moves that assured him the best chances at reaching the upper echelon of this sport. He's done a masterful job inside the ring and a stellar job controlling his boxing career outside of the ropes.

Not the point. Ariza said Floyd lowballed him. And instead of negotiating, he just hung up.

Agree. If anything it further proves that Floyd doesn't want the fight. Floyd sees how stupid his fanbase is and knows that they will look at $40 mil as "Oh Manny must be ducking". Intelligent fans do the math and laugh at that comical number.

A fair split would be 65-35 or 60-40 in favor of Floyd. Anything less is a total joke. It's funny that the idiot Mayweather fans keep bringing up the 40 mil as if it is proof that Manny walked away.

Ariza assumed Floyd low balled Pac. Floyd could have been hard on that offer which did not include PPV money for Pac. Ariza doesn't know what Floyd really wanted or what his motives were......As we all know now.......This fight never really had a chance of becoming reality since Floyd just recently came out and said that he won't fight Pac now because he doesn't want Arum anywhere near one of his fights which is a huge obstacle knowing Manny has been with Bob for most of his career.

FLOYD DOESN'T NEGOTIATE HIS OWN FIGHTS. He himself says it's Richard and Al.

So he and Manny were going to haggle on the phone? Get out of here. It wasn't a serious offer, can't you see that?
