He should have fought Klitschko end of story, him refusing to go up 100 pounds and go to Germany is the biggest quack in boxing history thats how his career should have went

he also never fought sergio martinez with and anchor tied to his foot and a hand tied behind his back

What a nutlicking fanboi you are. Pac is just his biggest duck but FLoyd has hardly ever fought the best available fights since the Castillo fight. The DLH and Alvarez fights are excusable but that's about it.

    :huh what ?

Nice try ,right now the best guys for Floyd to fight don't hold any major titles !

The fighter makes the belts, does anyone including you believe that Maidana is the the best welter weight out there today ? And is the best challenge for the best fighter P 4 P ? I'll wait for a response !

So instead of defending his LW belt vs Victoriano Sosa, he should have fought who?

pedjr is never about money. never. else he would have rematched dela hoya b4 retiring for possibly 2x, 3x money he made the first time.

the goal is to protect the 0 using money as the excuse.

early on, since pac (funny pac never priced himself out when he the p4p#1) was the one at the top, he cant use money as an excuse so pedjr had to keep throwing dirt at the wall, found something that stuck and ran with it.

    the rest is ducking history.

    Modern great- without question.

    All time great- no.

Think of it as a term "All time". 50, 100, 150 years from now, will people be talking about Mayweather like they do now or still will do then about Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammed Ali, Henry Armstrong etc? Unlikely.

While he is not the shameless cherry picker he's been made out to be, by his haters, he will be remembered more so for the fights that didn't happen than the ones that did.

However I think he could still attain that status if he makes it past Marcaino's 49-0 record against good opposition AND captures the lineal middleweight title, and perhaps defends it successfully against a dangerous foe (being that there are question marks against how much both Cotto and Martinez have left). Fighting the cannon fodder like Maidana and Khan at 147 will not suffice.

STFU if you're not going to answer the question.. You reply to a thread about who should have fought talking about money.. So since you failed to even attempt to answer the question, I believe you have no idea how to improve his resume.. Trolling is what you're here for...

    He's an ATG.

But you're screwing up the poll by saying he's "one of the best ATG" when he isn't

Spadafora, casamayor, freitas at LW.then Tzyu and Hatton at 140.then margarito, mosley,de la hoya, williams, cotto and pacquaio at 147.then move up and fight martinez,GGG.then move up and fight Ward,Froch again move up to LHW to fight Hopkins, stevenson and kovalev.then move up to fight huck and have a retirement fight against Klitchko.

    Yes i'm only joking.

Floyd career has went just fine.most talked boxer in world and P4P number one,and also makes most money.you can't do that only with marketing and fighting against bum's.

Yes we missed couple of fights when floyd "retired" i think he only wanted to get his body heal.i don't mind that.many ATG'S have year or two of inactivity,

After floyd made his comeback marquez was great opponent, but after that i would wanted to see pacquaio fight.that would have been floyd signature win in my eyes.other than that i'm okay with floyd career.

After maidana i really hope floyd fights against Martinez.that would make up to missed pacquaio fight.
Martinez september 2014.khan may 2015 and september 2015 finally pacman.that would be great way to ride in to the sunset.

The standards right now are so high for floyd, that it's almost unacceptable if floyd 3last fights would be against khan's of the world.
